Haha. Dude what the hell is wrong with everyone? I don't know weather it's more

ed up that there is an acronym for that, or that there are teams of people working together to break down this "new wave of internet slang."
Hahaha I nerver use slang when typing except when joking around or in the shoutbox. It gets annoying...
It is a bit funny though all those words although I don't think it really helps the parents because what is so wrong with w00t or n00b. Not that they care much.
Yay lets Uberw00t. They missed Uber for the slang thing...

That's because uber is an actual word.

sounds like my parents always asking questions if im talking to some one lol.e.
QUOTE
nifoc

Pfft the only thing they have to learn to understand is "f

" and its many uses.
Haha that "griefers" link was funny, I guess I'm a griefer, LoL jk

"roxx0rs" Used in place of "rocks," typically to describe something impressive.
They make it sound like kids on the internet are animals...
I know Uber is super in German but a lot of people use it. I don't know you are probably right. It is so funny though the "article".
Seriously what is wrong with kewl?
Kool like kool-aid! =D If you say kewl aloud you have to but on this semi austrailian accent =D or at least thats how I read it. The only time I use "leetspeak" is when mocking people who use it a lot or excessivly. Such as people with terrible mannars in game I might say "GG NRM

" or "omfgz i no u hak!!?!??!?!ÿÜÖ£╥╙§" when I'm clearly winning. It's pretty fun, I think it has class.
Leet words of concern or indicating possible illegal activity:
"pwn": A typo-deliberate version of own, a slang term used to express superiority over others that can be used maliciously, depending on the situation. This could also be spelled "0\/\/n3d" or "pwn3d," among other variations. Online video game bullies or "griefers" often use this term.
PWN? How does "pwn" indicate illegal activity?

So if I beat my friend in SC and go "Lol, that ling rush pwned your economy" it could be 'illegal activity'... right...
E-tarded parents... So ignorant... WITH HILARIOUS OUTCOMES!
pwn=own, it kind of reminds you of slavery no? I hate that p, just say own jackass. It's a whole mess of equality issues people with little historical background can't understand. I also hate when people type "lol" and don't actually laugh out loud. It makes me feel so... decieved. I know because I've had conversations with people on web can they type "lol" but they're not laughing, hell no, they've got that same stupid look on their face they've had for the past 30 minutes. If my joke wasn't funny enough to laugh out loud just type Haha or something of that sort.
Do you actually say anothing you type out loud? How is lol any different?
Well, if you got one of those Speech --> Text things (Ghetto typing cheater!) then, yes, you do say what you're typing. 'Lol' is getting overused... I doubt anyone really laughs out loud when they type that... Although I actually have before.
Laughing out loud happens a lot when your talking to someone like donwano.
But...LMAO? ROFL?
I always laugh out loud when I type "lol". There's a diffrence between something that's just remotly funny which many people will type "lol" in response to and something that will actually make you laugh out loud. It hurts me that so many people here do that.
I have friends who reply to

ing everything with lol.
"My cat died today."
"lol

"
