Trust me, you don't know even half there is to know about map making... especially if you don't know about switches.

Even I don't know everything there is to know about map making (though I come closer than most).

hello again! i have, yet again, another question. is there a difference between "Left Upper Level Door", "Right Upper Level Door", "Left Pit Door", and Right Pit Door"? i have no idea what each of them are, lol. any feedback would be great.

There's a small difference between Upper Right/Upper Left, and Lower Right/Lower Left; They're mirrior of eachother.

so then whats the difference between "Left Upper Level Door" and "Left Pit Door"?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by notnuclearrabbit on 2005-03-13 at 20:13:41
Elevation. The UPPER doors are at a higher elevation than the Pit doors. Also, placement allowed in StarEdit. StarEdit only lets you put Pit doors on Substricture, and Upper doors on regular floor.
