I dont know what my defense game should be....
I was thinking of making an invisible bunkers defense but i dont know can i get info on what u guys think...

Just a comment about your sig: Anyone can edit a picture (I've seen that picture a long time ago) but no one can actually show you a sieged tank burrowed in game. Think about that for a while.

Make something original.
And please oh God PLEASE don't make it one of those invis bunk, sideline, air, or anti-air defenses...

well origionality is reallly hard to come by these days because alot of the ideas are gone but u should try making a defence where if u creat a ptlon a luurker would come out or if u get a tank it will be the clocked tank i think stuff like that is really interest and have potention to be played

Truth be told, Everybody wants to see originality but originality is the hardest thing to do in a game thats been around for 8 years. WHat I suggest you do, (if its your first defence map) is go for the invisible bunker def. Because its the easiest and you can learn how to do levels, etc... One you become better at doing the trigs you CAN do stuff like invisible bunker defence.

An Idea that I jus thought of would be.

-you make a supply depot
-Bunker becomes invisible
-a spore colony is built inplace of invisible bunker
-You have a spore colony attacking air. and at the exact same spot you see marines attacking out of the spore colony.

It oculd be called -2 Building D- Or something. =/

O well I hope you like the idea. You better jump on it quick, Or I'm gonna take it.
Plz Send me a message over SEN if your gonna use this Udea, so we arn't doing the exact same map. I Won't use this idea if anybody else wants to. Jus msg me. wink.gif

I've come up with a few ideas for storylines that are relatively original, I've thought up a system for creating low-size-music in maps, God knows how many battle systems, a couple ideas for defences, and some more stuff. I tend not to remember everything I think up; it's too much to keep track of.

I'll assume you meant 'i think stuff like that is really interesting, and have a potential for popularity'.
In which case, not only is it extremely, horrendously old, but anyone that makes those maps are merely showing that they can't think of anything new; they have to use what's old, and been done 5 billion times already.

Personally, I say you should do something that doesn't involve actualy attacking things. You could possibly have a 'recall' defense, in which you use a Corsair disruption web an area, and the units caught in the web will be recalled to an area filled with guns. After some time, depending on how many upgrades you have on 'time', they will be teleported back to the strip. You could make countless variations upon this, and any one, at the moment, would be new. No one has done anything like this. The closest I know of is Trigger Happy Defense, but the only form of upgrading in that is getting a new type of weapon, and more ammo. This has a lot more potential then that, and can even be done with less triggers, and more easily. Especialy since you only need 1 computer.
