Well here is the story. I joined up with a clan called clan[Sc]. The leader and his brother(other leader) began to play diablo and eventually totally disregarded clan. because of this many other clan members either stopped coming to clan or made another clan. I was left alone for 2 years holding up clan[Sc]. I did pretty well because now I know a ton of high-ranking people. I also have held up our name and owned at a lot of games in the name of our clan. A few days ago the leader and a few others came back. Only problem was they brought this noobie who hates me. They totally replaced me with him. Naturally I was disgusted and stopped talking to them. Just last night I confronted them and they want me out of clan. Of course I said hell no it is my clan. I mean come on, they were gone for almost two years. Now we are at constant war and I just want MY clan back. Even if I am the only one in it. SO give me your opinion and what you think I should do, what is right, and what you would do if put in this situation. Thanks.

If you have Bot Ops, just ban them and make yourself leader. If they didn't log on SC for 2 years, the bots should be owned by you and not them I suppose.

Only problem is THEY have ops. ey would just log on account so no one else could take it. So that is an even bigger problem..

If you were leader all this time you should have the trust of your clan members, who most of proboly don't even remember the people coming back. Simply move the channel to some where else and banish them from the clan, If your members follow you it shouldn't be hard A clan isn't defined by the channel they meet in. Who would follow a leader who just leaves there clan hanging when they lose interest.

They were gone for 2 years they shouldn't expect to be be leader upon returning. Heck they shouldn't even expect to have membership. A similer thing has happened with Clan (U) except the previous leader didn't have channel access or feeling that he deserved to lead the clan.

Thats mostly because we wern't stupid enouth to allow him access or use the same password that he was using. The person who would come back founded the clan but was expected to be accepted as a member just like all the ot her members. Of course he never stuck around very long.

Flame wars are stupid, In my opinion if you win a battle by flaming someone then you have lost yourself.

very nice words bolt. It is sad to me that I feel like I must "attack" them in soem ways...I am just so flippin' mad at them for what they have done. Problem is...only 3 members came back form [Sc]. They all took the side of the previous leader. And while they were gone no one else joined up. It was basically me using the name and its power. So, I can not change channels, because no one is in clan I am so stuck on what to do. Keep posting please thanks for your help.

Anyways, nothing stopping you from making your own new clan.

E-mail or whisper the other members from time to time and tell them the name of the new channel.

If it’s just 'You the name and its power' then the name holds now power cause there is nothing to rule. Being a clan leader isn't about a power struggle but being leader gives you responsibilities involving it. Sounds like a very unusual situation if there isn't any members and I can see what there proboly thinking.

Well Yoshi, Clan[Sc] is on west so I don't think you would know them. The problem I am having is that they come in my clan after all this time of leaving and want it back. MOST of all they bring this noobie kid who thinks he is better than me. The leader and I were GREAT friends. So it shocked me that he wanted me out of clan because this new kid hated me. So you see it is kind of me being angry at them. Furthermore, I can not leave my name. Many people know me now and the name(or clan) means a TON to me. I can't exactly explain it but it would be like someone throwing away there wedding ring on there 50th anniversary. Get it? Basically clan means lot to me and has great sentimental value to me. So throwing it away and making new clan is out of the question.

Uhh people what does ops have to do with anything? They have ops but I am still in clan....and all the members hate me? There are only three remaining. One is the previous leader and the other two are these stupid noobies he brought with him(sorry I get a little mad). And by captain obvious do you mean my name is clan[sc] and my password is clan[sc]? Well anyways what I really want is for them to "take a break" for 2 MORE years. I waited for them to come back but now I wish they had stayed gone forever. I just want the feeling that I am the only one of a forgotten clan and the great glory of keeping it running!(my little sappy romantic online gaming dream?) Well whatever it is can we stop saying stuff about the ops.

It means that you could just ban the former leader and call it a day. And how is it that you had the clan running for 2 years without ops?


So then what the hell are you staying for? If the only members in the clan are the people who came back to take it over, that implies that there was never anyone else but you.


From the look of it, you are the only one left in a relatively unknown clan. If the leader comes back to a clan with only you as a member, then it seems to be forgotten. Call me cynical I guess, but if you've got nothing left in that clan but 3 members who don't like you, then go make a different clan because there is nothing in [SC] that should make you want to stay.

Gosh I guess you people aren't understanding. A clan doesn't revolve around ops! And I already stated that I can't leave my name behind for certain reasons. And banning the people wouldn't solve anything. Banning them would only make them more angry. They would "officially" not be in clan but they can still run around with the name and spread rumors and stuff about it. And no I wasn't "running" the clan. I was merely holding it in its highest form until they returned. If I had known they would want it back and take it over and kick me out of course I wouldn't have let them have ops! Jeeze people think. Also, [Sc] is VERY well-known. I don't know if you guys are just on East or are clueless but we have many maps made and are VERY high-ranking people. Anyways, keep posting but try to stay off the ops topic please.

What contradiction? The clan is very high-ranking and well-known because of everything I have done for it in the past two years. Makes perfect sense to me....When I say "clan" I mean the name [Sc]. I do NOT mean the fags who now run it.

Okay but you have said numerous times that there are only 3 members in it now not including you. So how does that make it high ranking or prestigious in any way? If you did as much as you claim for this clan, then no one would wquestion you when you protest the old leaders coming back. So I still fail to see why you just don't start a new clan...

Meh back to the ops I guess. I couldn't take the clan over because there was no way to. I mean come on now, once they came back they could ban me form channel easily. I guess what I am saying is, I am just mad at them for thinking they can come replace me with some noob and kick me out of the clan saying it is theres after I held it for so long. There is only ONE true remaining clan member(that is the leader) the other two he brought with him. It is high-ranking in the sense that many people know and love it. Not like we are on this huge website like SEN or something. We were the first originators of Laser Tag(althought some argue about that still). I am currently making a map called Kingdom Hearts RPG which is expected to be great. Just because you have lots of people doesn't mean it is a good clan. I could go out and recruit people like crazy, but it still doesn't mean its a good clan. I don't want to start a new clan because I feel like I shouldn't have to. This is my clan and they are wrong for trying to replace me. Also, I don't want to go to channels and have to say "Oh hi I am Chaos_Blade[Sc]. I knew you guys remember?". I would much rather have them know me for who I am. BTW: The leader is l)arkmarine[Sc].

Why do you call yourself a clan? If it was just you, it's not your CLAN. It's you in a channel with a tag.


After 2 years of no StarCraft, the ops account would've expired. You could've registered it and held ops for yourself, so don't say there was no way for you to have ops.

And finally, this is the internet. Getting mad and flaming somebody who you will most likely NEVER meet is pointless. They have the ability to kick you out, so they will, since you probably won't be able to do anything.

Sorry for your troubles, but you should just tell them to off and start a new 'clan' (If that's what you want to call yourself).

Meh finally someone who means something. Only problem with what you said was I couldn't get ops. earlier I stated that they came on enough so the account wouldn't expire.(it expires in three months so they would come on between times) Also, it wasn't a "clan" exaclty, more of me being attached to my name and everyone knowing me and what I had been through. And I understand flaming is pointless but I need a way to divert my attention....otherwise I would do some pretty crazy things...

Very well said. Let me shift the converstion to the other people's point of veiw.

You created a clan several years ago and had lots of fun with it. You quit SC for a long time. You come back two years later and all there is left is one person running around saying "im in the clan".
They don't see you as a member anymore so they wern't banning you, there starting a NEW clan with the same name and idea as before, and your not invited. There not taking over a clan cause there isn't a clan left.

Your too obsessed with b-net drama. OMG there spreading rumors about your clan, who cares you're a nobody, your clan is a nothing. If you want to run around by yourself still claiming your a clan then thats fine. Don't get pissed of at people because they choose to use the characters " [SC] " in there acount. You don't have rights to that character combination. And don't be offended by what other people with those characters do because there not you.

Anyways i'm sure everything i said will go in one ear and out the other so this will be my last post here.
