This is going to be very important for my upcoming map.
How much time does it take for a scourge to move across a 1x1 tile?

How much time does it take for a zergling to move across a 1x1 tile?
Thanks.
Beer, that actually doesnt answer my question. it only compares the speeds of one units to another, not actually how fast that unit is. so FU!

I had each unit move 50 "spaces".
Read the link, he moved the units through a 50x1 space meaning that you have to divide the time by 50.
You could then test how much time the overlord takes to move 50 spaces, divide the time by 50 and then convert it to observer time.
sorry buddy, but there was no given time so thats basically impossible.
Edit: forgot a word

Read the post.
it doesnt give me a number to divide by 50.
Then re-create the test map and time it yourself then use the table of unit speed provided to calculate the time. Stop being so lazy.

The actual time it takes a unit to move from one spot to another is dependant on the game speed so it is better to compare the speed to something more concrete such as the speed of an overlord that changes proportionally with the game speed. If you absolutely need this information test it yourself because apparently no one has a list.
Shit, if I was at my home comp I could tell you the exact time by looking at the iscript.bin (I think it was) for the scourge and zergling. Actually I think the iscript doesn't give the movement speeds for all units, like certain air units, which I think is stored outside the iscript.
But meh, I'll let you figure it out on your own. I've got more important things to do...
Hmmm... I thought Arsenal III had this?
Well it does, but not all unit speeds are set in arsenal. You can however set whether the speed it iscript.bin or not in arsenal for any unit, though (but then it becomes a mod).
