Staredit Network -> Ideas -> Dodge Enemies

This is something I made up. If u use this idea, gimme credit.

Okay here it is: You have a location that follows you like every 5 seconds, and a burrowed zergling that follows you that is allied to u. The enemy is allied to you and the enemy is a splashing unit. The enemy is allied to u, but not to the zergling that's following you. So, when the enemy attacks you, you can move, so you won't get splash damaged, which is dodge.

Good Idea or what? Am I right or Am I right?

You shouldn't move the zergling by timed amounts, it should be when the character gets so far away from the ling. I could see this, not as a whole map, but a minigame or something. smile.gif

No, for an RPG, you can dodge the Firebats that are the enemies. i tried making a Helm's Deep like this where Uruk's are firebats, but it turned out to be a disaster because of my skillz as a map-maker

This would be an RPG type thing cuz you're getting hurt and the burrowed zergling you can't see (<-Keyword) has 9999 life and that's the one the enemy's attacking.

What? Zergling and u are both allied, but not ally visioned. The Zergling is allied wit the enemy and shared vision with the enemy. The enemy is allied with you, but not the zergling. So, enemy attacks zergling, zergling gets 1/2 damage while recovering life, you get splashed if you don't move.

Okay, now that I understand what you're talking about, yes, it is a good idea.
I like it. IT reminds me of an idea I thought of a long time ago- one that would have been hellishly hard to do, but would have been cool.
