One of those random threads.

What languages do you speak?
(And what languages are you learning)
(And what you want to know how to speak - even if you're not learning the language)

*Also if the language is typable in roman alphabets, say something in it smile.gif

I speak Mandarin and English (Of course happy.gif).
I can understand Taiwanese, since my grandparents speak it, but I can't speak it.

I'm learning Japanese at school (A lot of people do)
And I want to learn how to speak Cantonese smile.gif

Edit: oops, I typed

You mean awesome? XD
I don't consider leet speek to be a language of it's own, since it doesn't really have any rules. Want proof? Go to the website in my profile.
I'm terrible at learning new languages because I'm a slacker. If you miss one thing while learning a new language you pretty much get screwed for the rest of the course.
So I only speak English and a few random phrases in other languages.

Well, unless you're learning Spanish. Spanish and English are extremely, rediculously similar.

You speak English well.
And what do you mean by 'I speak American too'? I would think that you mean that you speak English English and American English, but what you said in the parenthesis doesn't make sense in that context.

'I know Washington state people speak English perfectly.'

And southern variations as well, regular english "Get it done" Southern english "Git 'r' don"

Speak & write french fluently (native language tongue.gif ).

Write english fluently. Speaks it like... Someone that lives in Quebec (which is usually pathetic).

I'd love to learn spanish... But I'm just too lazy. I might consider it someday, though, since it is very close to french; which should make things a bit easier.

LOL, including programming languages, huh?

Well, I can read/write and speak spanish fluently (first language), write english fluently but read/speak it...
I can also read/write and speak valencian fluently, and thus catalan too since its really similar (almost the same thing).
About programming languages, I know VisualBasic, C++ and thus C too, and I knew QBasic, but it is obsolete and I would have to relearn it.
I know a bit of HTML too.
Also I can read/write SC triggers tongue.gif

Just to let you guys know... SC triggers in not a language -.-
It's a 'sharvit' (no clue what's the word for it in English) for C++ procedures.
Infect, now that I think of it, 1337 is not a language too! it's a level-b replace code.
