Just from my imagination, do the 8x trick on starforge.
Then you can do 8x speed with units although this would only be on UMS.
That would really be cool
Wondr if someone will make one like that lol

First of all, you cant get x8 speed in SC. Second of all, the game becomes insanely imbalanced when you do that. Thirdly, it's been done before.

i for one would get a kick out of 8x speed. go for it! ..not that i'd take it seriously or anything though

...This was already mentioned... THERE IS NO 8x SPEED. There is only 2x and 4x.

You can place the Map Revealar or Scarab anywhere you want!

I just put it in the corner because I forgot where I put it once so I added another and my map got screwed. Just easier to remember where it is if it's in the corner.

Now enter DK to castrate everyone that gives instructions to put in the corner.

I had played some of ums maps that had x8 speed like you said,
I tried to do my maps like that too, but it didnt work it only twices faster for the animate function. Like the ling 's leg go really fast, but the speed same*

PLEASE SOMEONE TEACH ME HOW TO MAKE X8 SPEED.

I think I made that map

I dunno if it was BigGameHunter, what I was one of the firsts using map 14 releaver/scarab and made two of the firsts maps with that trick: a Hunters and a Lost Temple 4x speed maps.

But I have seen a map, thought it was a bound or somethingy, that was like more than 8x, it seemed like that... I guess it was 16x or somethingy

And it will be a UMS map then, not a melee

This topic has become very opinionated and contrary.

The essential point of this topic was 8x speed, which in fact is not possible—or considered 4x as LegacyWeapon stated.

Chronophobia, before you say something make sure you read the entire thread.
I have said this already, there is only 2x speed, and 4x speed.
Its so simple it drives me crazy. Some people are just so ignorant when it comes to reading posts.
