Why's it so big in America? I'm guessing it's because you have a lot of 4th-5th generation Irish immigrants etc. but I could be wrong.

America has a lot to do with the Irish, the traditional meal, corned beef and roast cabbage, were originally made in america. Most of our enthusiasm probably has to do with our Irish descent though.
