Okay here's how I want it to go. I will make a post asking you guys what's the most interesting use of so an so. It will always have to do with StarCraft. Then you guys will tell me what you think is the most gnarly thing you've seen having to do with it. After that's been beaton to death, I, or someone else will post a new reply with another "What's the most interesting use of so and so". Here's the first one...
What's the most interesting use of Supply Depots you've ever seen?
I once saw a player run his marine behind the opponent's (Zerg) minerals at 12 o clock and then use 2 SCVs the build supply depots on the sides on the minerals in such a way that no other units could get in. Thus making it impossible to mine at his main for awhile. This was very early game.
So go ahead guys, what's the most interesting use of Supply depot's you've ever seen?
PsychoTemplar
Playing on a UMS map and stacking to the point where it takes practically forever to destroy. The enemy better be happy that it wasn't photon cannons.......
Yea....more of a 'Holy cow, it's sooooo slooooooow' thing than a 'Wow! That's cool!' thing........

I was refering to melee games but since no one seems to be remembering any of the sick tricks people have done with depots I'll make a new one.
What's the most interesting use of the arbitor's recall you've ever seen?
I once saw someone recall archons over a tank and mine infested cliff killing everything.

Mines don't work on Archons.
No shit, that's why it worked.
I've only seen one use of recall in the history of all SC games I've ever seen. It was a pro RM and the toss hallucinated 2 arbs and let hell break lose int he terran's base. His dropships were just going to do a major drop until he saw the arbs. Funny stuff.

Hmmm, the most interesting thing with supply depots... Well, this happend when you could still stack builidings in SC (in melee games). What my oppent did was he stacked 5 supply depots on all of my sunkens since the only thing I had to defend myself was 40 sunkens. He then attacked me with his 200 SCV's

You mean with the stack hack that no longer works? Anyways how was he able to build things on creep?
There was a glitch that allowed players to fool with vision and build anywhere they wanted, as long as the worker could get there. I'm talking about ligit games with gosu tactics, not some retarded stacking in a n00b game =/
I saw someone make 3 arbiters and surround my base and warped in a shitload of archons.
As for supply depots, I filled all of a base in LT with then so it make it had for the person to make an expansion there.

Um... well the most interesting thing involving supply depos for me was when my friend owned it with defilers. I don't realy use them for anything interesting, and I don't see people use them.
Arbiters, I have no clue. I'm gona make something up thats interesting. Um.............
Okay, I got something. There was a huge base A guy moved in with like 12 arbiters. When they got behind the minerals then they recalled more abiters. Then those arbiters recalled in the rest of the army.
Pffffft, they were probably hallucinations (jk I know you're a lying sack of shit). That would be most interesting use of defilers... not depots. Okay, since you all seem to play people with no creativity at all I'll start a new one and then give up.
What's the most interesting use of BURROW you have ever seen?
I once burrowed my lings at my oppenents natural (about 12) and waited for him to expand there and get a bunch of probes... as I was clearly not going to muta harass he assumed he could get away with just a few photons on the front... then I poped up recking havok with my lings...
The most interesting use of burrow that I've ever seen was vs a terran player using large numbers of siege tanks supported by only a few goliaths and no detectors.
An overlord spotted 8 tanks and 6 goliaths moving out from a terran base. Guessing correctly that the terran player was gunning for his unprotected expansion, the zerg player quickly moved a huge number of cracklings (about 3 control groups) to the expansion and burrowed them. The terrans rolled into the expo and took out a couple of sunkens from range. The task force then moved close to the hatchery, where the lings were safely buried. As the tanks stopped above them, they unburrowed.
The terran force was wiped out in less than 10 seconds, with only a handful of zerg casualties.
Heheh. People underestimate the power of Burrow.
burrow 6 lings at enemy ramp and wait for a probe to go expanding. kill it. then move on to the exp and burrow there. this will force the toss to waste some money and time

Most interesting use of Supply Depots: In a Fastest Map, two terran allies took control of the middle and filled it completly with Supply Depots, virtually blocking all ground troops just walking in the front.
Most interesting use of Recall: Sending in a bunch of probes to harvest my minerals and then recall them back to their base.
Most interesting use of Burrow: At the start of the game, while my enemy wasn't looking, I brought in like 10 zerglings (I know he wasn't looking cause I went in through the front.) and burrowed them all over his base. After like 5 more minutes, he starts whining that he can't build anywhere. So... eventually, he gets pissed and accuses hacking like a noob and leaves. It was fun though ^_^

What n00b were you playing? All toss block their ramp with zealots
Okay, how do you not understand what I'm getting at... NO MONEY MAPS filling an entire base/middle path is not creative... infact, it's the fault of the players for not scouting. Good god people, did you ever actually play this game (ye olde ladder)?
Stop being an elitist. This is an 8 year old game -- you can't expect everyone on b.net to care about being pro.
And it's not exactly easy to find something that would be considered 'creative' as you call it, and not just good strategy.
The game is 7 years old and everyone who has played the game since then should be at least half decent at the game by now. You don't have to be extremly good to know what's creative... havn't you people ever heard of people like grrrr..., yosh and espeicially boxer. Just take proud moments from those games. Is it too much to ask from a community seemingly dedicated to preserving the game to know at least a little about it?
Actually, no, since this is a mapmaking community and not a melee community. In fact a lot of people here have only been playing SC seriously for a few years. :\
In a melee map a zerg player was playen versus terran and figured out the best place to siege their main defences so they burrowed a giant force their. they let the terran come on in adn start blasten/ plant there. then they popped up and ate the marines protecten the tanks/ the tanks themselves... end to defencive problems... it was also funny becuase they only had 1 sunken out fron nd they figured the terran would park even if they saw only one..
