allright, im going out to eat, and before i left i wanted to show you the First design of my map..

hmmm, i hope thats only the top half of the map...

Is it going to be 4ppl map? If it isnt then abandon the map....

It would be a good start soo far if it is just the top half. its not bad, but it could use island expansions on the left mid and right mid of the map.

The path leading to blues expo is considerably smaller than that of reds. And its hard to critique a map when its not even half done. Well, theres that little island that doesnt seem to be doing much of anything.

yes. this will be a four player map, ynku i am adding expos to the ight middle and left middle. Mojo i will make player 2s pathbigger, i plan to finishit today

Umm..... is that the way you make maps?
I think I must tell you steps to make melee maps:
1) make the main terrain
2)cliffs and higher places or water ermm.gif
3)place doodadlayers
4)putting minerals and start locations
5) check the map over see if something wrong before save
I hope this would help a little bit. smile.gif

umm, I tend to make maps in that order too BliSSard. shouldnt that be BliZZard?

BTW, this goes for everyone. Stop posting maps in the assistance forum, it goes in the Showcase and in production forum.

With red's extra land behind the ramp. The player you put tanks there and the ramp could be more easily balanced than blue's ramp.

Why so much water?, basicly half the map is useless because there is nothing.

Also, Blue's expansion minerals and gas can easily be sieged by tanks on the cliff, while with Red you can only siege the minerals.
Blue's chokepoint form middle of map to the natural expansion is much smaller than Red's.

There really isn't much to this map though...

Just skimmed over the posts... :

Add minerals and/or Gas where I edited it. Maybe Just gas, becuase those exps at the top have none. And connect the land by a bridge or something.
