I want to make an attack through triggers, like for example something like making a psionic storm without a high templar or anything of this sort. is this possible, if so how would i go about doing it?

the storm cannot be created with triggers, that's why you have never seen it before.

ok, so would i have to create a high templar to use psionic storm? is this the only way?

yes, but there is also no AI script that tells Templars to storm. Your have to let a unit attack a enemy high templar with storm researched. Then the templar should storm on the unit. According to my memory, each templar only storms once (Note, my memory sucks -_-)

If you're running an AI script for the computer then the templar will storm if he has enough mana and if he's attacked. Thats the best you can do.

which AI script do i use? or does it really matter?

It's a base AI script, I doubt it would matter which one you run though.
