I'm making a map where theres a wraith that shoots nuclear missles out of it. How would I get the nukes to the wraith instantly? Create triggers and move triggers won't work. Also, how do I get the nukes to move so they'll hit things after they're at the wraith? sad.gif

You cannot creat units like the nuke with triggers. So the only way would be to preplace them. But then you will have a limited amount so I don't think your map will work out like you wanted it to.

But what about moving the nukes? Like moving them from one place on the map to another instantly? Is there a way to do that?

Well if you say the move trigger does now work then the only other way I can think of making the nukes move right now is to run the AI script junkyard dog and the nukes will fly around everywhere but then you cannot command where you want the nukes to go.

Well I know how to make the nukes move forward after they get to the wraith like missiles, I just cant get em to the wraith sad.gif

I'm surprized that move doesn't work, you sure you got the player correct? If move doesn't work as you said i guess you would have to order it to move there. You COULD keep a nuke flying around in circles (or back and forth) around the map to maintain its maxium speed so when you do 'move' it there it flys in really quick.
If that is unsatisifactory i don't think what your trying to do is possable.

Can you give us the map? so we can see what you're trying to do, like how everything works, i understand what you're trying to do, but how you do it is what i need to know.

Okay, i played around and found out you can't move nukes, so the second best thing to go with was interceptors... After playing with it for awhile i came up with this scroll type galaxian shooter game.

Beware i didn't add scarabs flying downward creating the effect you're moving foward, i also didn't make an enemy spawn and send them moving downward cause of lziness. Just keep in mind this is a concept map.

Are you moving "any unit" because I know that doesn't work for some units. Just wondering...
