Of course, but that doesn't really have anything to do with this topic... there, god gave him his power because he (Bruce) started complaining how much life sucks and he (God) wanted to show him that being god and making everything perfect is not easy as well and that he (Bruce) should deal with it.
Besides, the whole movie was a comedy.
