Cloaked or invisible? Cloaked you would just disable the doodad state.

If you're talking true invisible, where you can walk through it and see nothing, then you have to use a trigger to move the Bunker. Just be sure to load it first. And make sure wherever you move the Bunker too that it won't die or anything.

I'm not sure if you noticed it, but that does tell you what you have to do.

Moose he just said cloaked.

Phantasy, Moose just said disabled doodad state for cloaked units.

Yes... yes we have...
But as far as making on completely invisiable how is it done.. i mean i understand what you mean by move it but wont that just move the bunker to a location and have it still be visible.

It will be visible in that location and will be in that location, but the units inside the bunker are still where they entered the Bunker and fire from there.
If you don't want it seen, just make it inaccesable to players.

Another way of explaining it:

You place the bunker. You move the bunker. The building itself is where you moved it ... however, the place where the bunker attacks is where it was before you moved it. If you do something like disrupter web the building, then the units wont fire anywhere.

Also, the units dont have vision of that spot.

It's available on some of the modded map editors, like the X-Tra StarEdit editors. Third party map editors like StarForge and SCMDraft will probably support it too, though most of them do not have a trigger editor yet.

EDIT: Actually, it's on all editors, including the normal SC one. You use it to disable doors and traps on installation maps. Problem is that normally, they won't allow you to have them effect units, and therefore we need editted map editors.

Cloaked stuff can be fun. Can you cloak other units?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by SpaceBoy2000 on 2004-02-11 at 07:42:44
Yes. You can cloak some units like ghosts and prevent some powerup from being picked up by using this trigger. Be warned that some units do crash StarCraft. There is a list somewhere of all the cloakable units, by I don't have it with me. Maybe somebody else that has it can post it up.

Units and buildings that are "cloaked" using this method has one dis advantage - They won't be able to do anything. They don't shoot, or answer to any of your commands. So, usually, only cloaked buildings are of much use to anyone.

So they're more of a graphical feature than anything else?

Check out the tutorial here... http://www.staredit.net/?showtutorial=34
It also has a list of units you can cloak.
