You make a trigger that resets all your other ones? There is no "Reset map" trigger. So just remove all the units to make it look like it was. Reset all the switches and/or death counts. Create the preplaced units etc.

what about upgrades and all that?

There was this thing that Dk used. Extended players? That he could upgrade or downgrade on command. Not sure if it will work. But I really don't think it is worth it. Just let them remake the map. Move their lazy fingers..

There was no way to downgrade before and there sure as hell isn't one now.

You cannot fully reset a map.

There was a way. I am 100% sure. Ask deathknight. Not sure if it will work now though because of patch.

I have a basic system in my map, Tactical Paths. Although there is no way to reset upgrades, there are ways to reset kill scores and such. If it helps any.

theres an AI script called "reset all combat data"(or something simular). i dont know what it does but from the the i can guess that it resets everything, since deaths count as combat data.(but not ups an minerals?)

i dotn know if it works on swithces buti m pretty sure it works on kills.

I think I'm positive that the AI script only resets scores and nothing else.

I know you're not right in that assumption.

I'm sorry, I thought it was just a trigger that resets some intergers. Its just one of the many funky AI scripts i'm not familiar with. Next time, I'll verify what I say so I won't make up anymore lies.

Hmmm.... what about making sure that player 12 doesn't have any upgrades and then making the humans get units owned by player 12? I think this would work, but I would have to test it to find out for sure.

I believe this stops any AI scripts that are running (such as a campaing script).

Hmm, how about no. You cannot ever downgrade. Ever. NO. NOT POSSIBLE. NEVER. N-You get the point.

Unless you use extended players(unstable) and you own a PC, you can downgrade. But I wouldn't use that as it requires preplaced units for a non-existant player. It requires a LOT of preplaced units if you actually want to downgrade unless there is another method.

That should erase all combat data as it says, not technology data like upgrades in that case
