When i edit maps on Scmdraft2, i cant edit and save games on the Starcraft editor when I go back to it...why does that happen and how can I fix that. For now i just make most of the maps on the Starcraft Campaign editor and then edit the stuff i can't normally Starcraft editor last.

as long as you dont have the map open in starcraft and you are not saving on a write only medium you should be able to save just fine.

Close starcraft. If that doesn't work then read this:
If the problem persists, then scream at the top of your lungs and pound on the keyboard.
If you continue to get this error, then there is no hope for you and you should just die!
Actually don't do the second thing, do the first.

Get WinMPQ from the SEN Database, then once you've downloaded it, run it, go to Open, select All Files from the type list, then find your map, and open it. It'll show a (listfile), "map".chk and any sounds you've added, select the (listfile) and delete it. Now it'll save.

I belive starforge can save the map when it is open in StarCraft. Could this cause bugs? Why is this allowed? Should i be asking Heimdal?

I rather doubt it can save because starcraft opens the map with write lock, that means you can only open it not save it with any outside program.
