I'm almost done learning HTML and then I'll move to CSS and JAVA. I'm thinking of building my own website and I'll start on a free Server.

These are the ones I'm thinking of.

http://www.150m.com/
* 100 MB Free Web Space
* FTP Access
* Free Web Site Promotion
* Free Stats and Site Tools
* Fast and Reliable Servers

http://www.webtecinc.com/
250 MB Storage
Unlimited Bandwidth
1 POP3 Account
Unlimited FTP Accounts
Unlimited Autoresponders
Webmail
FrontPage Extensions
PHP, CGI, PERL
Fast Connections
Free Shopping Cart
Free Chat Room
Free Message Forum
Free Gallery
Free Mambo CMS software
Free PostNuke Portal
Free Spam Assassin
Free Plesk 7 Control Panel
Trouble ticket system
Toll Free Support
Email Support
24/7 Tech Support
MySQL databases available
Subdomains available
$0.01 per Year. (I can't pay them unless someone pays for me)

Anyone has any suggestions/past experiences to post? I'm looking for 100MB+ and Unlimited Bandwith if it's posible. It can be a little less, but that would be my prefered choice.

The thing about most of these (Not LegacyWeapons's) is that they don't mention the file size limits. I'd find one with good transfer file sizes and you can work wonders.

www.websiteallies.com

300MB space
2GB bandwidth
10MySQL
php
cgi
perl
cron

good for starting out, has alot of space and bandwidth, php, 10 mysqls. But if you can get alot of people to your site, switch to

www.000k.com

Same as above but less, use affiliate to get much better stuff.

cause you can use the affiliates program to get much more added to your site, domains, bandwidth, space, alot of stuff.

I'm, thinking of going with http://www.t35.com/freehosting.shtml for now. Mainly becasue they got Great Service Support for 24/7 plus Active Support Forums with a Forum for almost anything. Unlimited Bandwith and Unlimited SPace. (I do haev the feeling that if my site grows big enough past 300MB and gets enough views they will shut it down.

Thats where http://www.w000t.net/ comes in. By the time T35 shuts down my site for being too big, I'll have more than 300 visitors per day and permanently move to w000t Network. Maybe I'll get the 750 visits per day for the best free package.

Thanks for the links, any suggestions about these two servers?

I also plan to update my site as much as posible and probably have a forum. I plan on basing my site on Starcraft Melee Gameing/Map Making and Humour.

http://www.w000t.net/, damn these people will only accept Domain names and not Sub-Domains previously established. They're out.

http://www.smokyhosts.com/ is pretty good, but the thing is they don't have many members and thus I can get many reviews. Lisk, you're a member of Smoky Hosts, what do you think of their hosting service?

They're biggest package isn't a lot, 500MB and 5GB of bandwith and the smallest is 100MB and 1GB of Bandwith. The bandwith is what worries me.

For now, I'm going with either http://www.t35.com/freehosting.shtml or http://www.smokyhosts.com/.

That one is just a REALLY mediocre site that doesn't do squat for ya other than being free really. I wouldn't recommend that one if you're going to do some serious stuff.

I don't really trust FreeWebs, don't know why though.

The also aren't offering much compared to the two sites I ahev in mind.

QUOTE(FreeWebs)
How much space do I get?
Users are given an initial 40Mb. Users can purchase an unlimited amount of additional space at the cost of $10 per additional 100Mb per year.

How much bandwidth do I get?
We offer up to 500MB of user bandwidth per month for all non-premium users, so long as it is being used in a proper manner. Premium Users are entitled to 1000Mb of bandwidth per month. Users can purchase an unlimited amount of extra bandwidth at the price of $9 per additional 3000Mb per month. Or our bulk bandwidth package which is available at the price of $30 per month for 50000Mb of bandwidth.
