Think about what games have came out for what system. Think about graphic wise which is better too..Which system has gone the farthest in today's high judgements? Please vote and if it's you like them all or they all suck tell me why...

Well lets see, all three of the gaming systems are pretty good. Though XBox and Gamecube have the betetr processors, for now. But Playstation 3 is supposed to have graphics that can be compared to Shrek 2 kind of graphics, or better. So for now lal the systems are good. Of course XBox has the good games like Halo and a lot of sport games, and Gamecube has Resident Evil games and that, and Playstation 2 has hmm, a lot of great games too But the nest generation gaming systems are gonna blow those three away for sure

Xbox is the most powerful system.
Playstation 2 has the largest game library.
Gamecube is the cheapest.
Xbox and PS2 both have DVD players and can play online.
Xbox and Gamecube are more powerful and reliable than the Playstation 2.
PS2 versions of games are usually the worst in graphic quality and load times.
The PS2 has the most accessories available.

Ultimately, it boils down to exclusive games. Each console offers different genres:

Xbox - Halo 2, Ninja Gaiden, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Rallisport Challenge 2
PS2 - God of War, Metal Gear Solid 3, Gran Turismo 4, Tekken 5
Gamecube - F-Zero GX, Resident Evil 4, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Metroid Prime 2

*Xbox list would have been longer, but many of those games are found on the PC.

As a cube owner, I'm being more and more tempted to get a PS2 because of it's great selection of games. The Xbox is also nice since a lot of people have customized different parts of it. The gamecube is affordable, and has my favorite game so far, Resident Evil 4.

PS2 obviously is the best cuz of all the great games coming out for it that all score 9 or higher. You forgot to add Devil May Cry 3 and Final Fantasy series for exclusives!

Not about graphics. It's the game. See San Andreas? It got better rating than Halo 2 and Halo.

I have to choose X-box because I have been brainwashed by my friend to like all Microsoft products. Because he got brainwashed by his cousin who works for Microsoft. And X-box is one of the consoles I have actually played a lot on. The other ones I hardly ever play.

I dont see why capcom doesn't make re4 for xbox. You would think the biohazard series (resident evil series) would have gone with microsoft way before they even thought about going with gamecube and ps2. The resident evil series would be so much better on xbox, and over all xbox is the highest rated system of all time. Graphic wise and gameplay wise. Also xbox lives online gameplay surpases anything for any of the systems' competetors.

Obviously you need to research a bit more. Nintendo and Capcom have been long time partners ever since the Super Nintendo. Street Fighter and Megaman? They wouldn't just leave Nintend to go work with microsoft.

If you don't know about the Revolution, Xenon or the PS3 then you need to do a little more research since most of you only know about the PS3 since of the obvious name.

Xbox doesn't always have superior gameplay and graphics, they just tend to have a better track record of games with it. Just since a game has good graphics doesn't make the system good, you have to look past the graphics and to the gameplay. Xbox did bad since it was portable for people living in Japan since their rooms are so cramped, the Gamecube or PS2 would of been a better choice. Xbox has a fair choice of games, but it did the wrong things in the market that obviously cost it alot of money. The bad thing is most of Xbox's game is relied around X-box live which shows weakness since they need to rely on online play.

PS2 came out before Gamecube and Xbox and it isn't as powerful, but continues to prove itself with excellent games and RPGs, Devil May Cry 3 and God of War were recently released and show the true potential of the PS2. The graphics may be a bit outdated, but the gameplay sure as hell makes up for it. Just since something doesn't look as pretty as the Xbox version doesn't mean it sucks. I'd personally pick the PS2 over X-box anyday though the X-Box is more durable then Sony products.

Ah...the Gamecube. My favourite system of them all. It has a extensive library and one of the best games of all time featuring all of the Nintendo mascots, Super Smash Brothers Melee. This game has simple, but complex gameplay with almost unlimited replay ability. Now, the Gamecube is much more portable and durable then the PS2, and smaller then the X-box. It's much better choice to constantly move, and even what people say about the controllers, they're fine, not hard to learn to use them. Gamecube is not a kiddy system, as seen with the release of Resident Evil 4 and Eternal Darkness, what most people say sucks about the gamecube. Small discs isn't bad at all, it still contains alot of space to provide extras on it. I've always truted Nintendo, and I'm not gonna stop.

And if you say the Xbox is the best system graphics and gameplay wise, you seriously need to play GRADE A games for all three systems before you make such a bold and aggorant statement about the X-box.

GameCube- meh... If i could get it on sale i would put it in my car but... i would never have this hunk of crap as a main colsole.

Xbox(Done this review 8 times) - The only games Xbox has is Halo1 or Halo 2. Which or awesome! But other then that it either has a game ps2 already has, or an even worse one.

Capcom is the only company saving gamecube. Without the great resident evil series gamecube is a pushover.

Gamecube is like a secondary system. Like, a system for Sleepovers, then tehre are ther 2 main competitors: PS2 and Xbox!

Gamecube would be doing fine without it, Soul Calibur II, Super Smash Bros Melee, Eternal Darkness, Sonic Adventure Battle 2, Super Mario Sunshine, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Animal Crossing and Metroid Prime. Nintendo can do fine on it's own, Sony would be pretty much screwed without Square Enix is simply put if Capcom is "supposely" saving the Gamecube.



Ahem, it's pretty funny that you're basing this off of IGN ratings. Just since one person says it's good doesn't mean it's a great game. Obviously you didn't even bother to include any Gamecube ratings since you haven't even played it, you guys are really naive to do that. You're obviously biast towards the PS2, since you didn't even bother to include any GOOD games for the Xbox or Gamecube., like Ninja Gaiden, DOA Ultimate, the Splinter Cell Theory in which Chaos Theory got 9.6 and the original got 9.6, Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Project Gotham Racing 2 and Burnout 3. For Gamecube, Super Smash Bros Melee, Resident Evil 4, Eternal Darkness, Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Super Mario Sunshine, F-Zero GX, Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door and Animal Crossing. If you ever try to compare ratings again, please do include the best of all three systems. noob.

Ah well to sum it all up, it boils down to this.
All three systems are great. It depends on what you like, nothing else. People can sit here and argue about this or that about them, but who the heck cares. If you like XBox more then Playstation 2 than thats final. And so on with the others.

I'm saying talkin about all the new games. I don't care about the fricking cheap player's choice or platinum hits things.

Each system has its own strengths and weaknesses;
Strengths:
Xbox-Memory, graphics, more memory, Halo series
PS2-Big game selection, Final Fantasy online/MMORPG's, Great games that focus on gameplay rather than graphics, free online
Gamecube-small, durable, Zelda, small and hard to break CD's, fast loading times

Weaknesses:
Xbox-Heavy(Cant take easily to trips), Costs money for online and depends on online for games
PS2-Easily broken(first one to come out), hard to transfer games from other systems(look at brothers in arms and chaos theory), graphics (not really because Gran Turismo 4 pwns Forza Mortorsport), bad online
Gamecube- small game selection, has too much pokemon-type kiddy games( I did NOT say that GC was a kiddy system, but rather that it has too much kiddy games), no online

See? PS2 has most weaknesses out of them all, but I just like to play games, not watch a movie on an Xbox (I'm not trying to be mean, but just expressing my opinions)

That's because Xbox Live allows only people with broadband connections to play. PS2 on-line allows narrow and broad to connect.

The Xenon is coming out before the Revolution and PS3.
Also, I have 2 PS2, 1 Xbox and 1 Gamecube. I prefer Gamecube most of the time since it's more of a multi-player console for when friends come over.

I hate to tell you this, but ratings don't prove jack. They are OPINIONS, just as if I said I give Halo a 3.0! The only difference is that the guy reviewing it gets paid for it.

The only accurate way to rate a game is to play it yourself. You might have a better or worse experience than the reviewer. An example is Super Smash Brothers Melee. Now many people rated this game as 9.0 or better, but in my opinion, it's shallow, unbalanced, and lacking in singleplayer.

Play the game, play the demo, play someone elses, and then tell us what you think of it.

And how is "a console for sleepovers" an argument?
