What do you guys and girls think about the new Sony PSP? I heard its pretty awsome, and it has Metal Gear Solid Acid for it too, and other great games.

Versatile enough.
DS beats it hands down with gameplay. And I don't see the point of being able to see movies on that thing. I have a TV 40x bigger at home that does the same thing.

I like it, I want it. But im to cheap, probly wait for some holiday. but it looks great. Metal Gear Ac¡d looks awesome. The DS looks good but... well... PSPs BETTER! And the PSP was supposed t be 300$$$. Its 150-200$ or somthin! THATS GOOD!
Being this cheap does pay off though... im loaded!
But i found out that in order for me to play WoW which i got for Christmas i need a 70$ memory up u need for mac(dunno why, need more mem for mac on this game... im not sure if i should get it...

Lol, I went to Wal-Mart this past friday (3-26-05) and my dad said if I forked over my Nintendo DS to my bro, he'd buy me a PSP Value Pack. I did like the DS, but compared to a PSP, it wasn't much. PSP IS SO TIGHT! Oh, and I bought Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix, and for a portable, those graphics are TIGHT!

For PsP you can Listen to Music Its like an Mp3 Player You can Put Home Photos On it You can have Videos on it and theres other Settings for it. A Memory Stick Pro Duo, Analog Stick UMD ( Universal Media Disc) USB 2.0, 802.11b Wi-Fi WierLess LAN(Online) Yah I think its pretty cool

DS does NOT beat PsP. The ds is a big clunky pos. Wow it has a touch screen that I can blow on and play childish games like Yoshi and Wario....cool? PsP is totally sexy and powerfull and has an awesome layout with the d-pad and analog controls. And the cost isn't THAT bad considering you get a carrying case, one of those memory sticks and some other shit. It's 249 and if you preordered it you get Spiderman 2 movie. To those of you bitching...why would I want to watch a movie on a small screen when I can watch it on my big tv, I say, how you going to bring that tv with you? You dumbasses its portable... And for a portable the image and sound quality are BADASS. The psp is great. Why carry around an ipod, portable dvd player, and a gameboy when you can have them all packed nicley into one device. Oh and btw, the PsP blows ds's graphics out of the water.

Blame stupid America for charging us. You might not get it. After a year the DSs touchable screen could not be seen thru! It even says it in EGM! You might not get this thru your thick skull, its got an analog stick!!! DS and a connect the dots screen.

PSP IS A WASTE OF MONEY. It may be a good thing to have if you were rich but none of you are millionares so its a frekin waste of money and the nintendo DS sucks also .. Isnt it hard to look at two screens at once plus hitting the buttons on the side.

well, i played my friends when we hung out this weekend, i thought i twas pretty cool playing video games movies music and some other stuff, i really liked it
it really kicks the DS in the butt, i didn't think the PSP would be that fun
i might buy one in the summer, the price might go down(probably not) and i woulden't have to focas on college, just work

I have a portable DVD player worth about 160$. I havnt opened the box yet, but it looks VERY cool!!!
But now i hear the PSP plays DVDs and im not sure if i should return the portable DVD player and get a PSP for about a 150$ in total spenings... i am VEEERRRYYYYY cheap. Im not sure... ARG.

They're ok, but the price right now, the DS is so much better for a lesser price. A 1 GB memory stick is at least 100 dollars to 150 dollars. That's not that much songs or videos, and if you plan on just buying for games, you're going to be spending alot of money.

My ipod mini has 1.5 gb used and I have exactly 400 songs on it...not that much eh? My ipod was like $250. Hmm it can't play movies or games. shucks. Shoulda got a PsP.
