Well i have a rather interesting story about what happened to my internet. Well 2 days ago i was home on the computer and decided to check SEN forums, when i opened the explorer SEN didn't load, i thought to myself "oh SEN must be down or something". Next morning at work i was checking it and everything was cool but when i got home id still didn't load so i figured there was something wrong with my internet... but no... i could load any other page i typed in EXCEPT SEN, and my friend could load SEN no problem on his computer. So i figured my ISP or something was screwing around or something. Then today.. at home its STILL not load SEN but yet its loading anything else i type in, so i call up my provider and while on the phone with them for 30 minutes to disabling and reactivating things, doing power cycles to my cable modem and doing system restores on my XP OS, it hits me *Smacks himself* my freaking router... its done stupid crap to me in the past i wonder if its the problem. So i then directly connect my computer in and SEN loads fine, then i reconnect my router and SEN doesn't work again... I'm think son of a... and then all of a sudden BAM SEN loads. Now out of my experience with dialing into my router and my own internet something like this has never happened and it seemed pretty weird that my router alone would NOT allow me to load SEN webpage... weird huh?

Hmm, I had lots of similar stories, which I initially thought was a router problem, but was actually an ISP problem. My ISP likes kicking me off the service once in a while, forcing me to call them and get them to send a guy to rewire the connection. Happens every few months, which get annoying.

On another note, that site seems to be down for me, Yoshi. Oh the irony!

I have something like that, well two computers and a x-box sharing same conection.

Basically a router is a small box that you plug your direct internet connection into, then there are usually abour 4 seperate spots to plug internet cables in the back as well. This was you can connect up to however many computers to the internet using the same line.

My computer is really stupid. Whenever you check how much memory it has it shows up as a ton of memory but then whenever you try to download anything or try to play games it always goes really slow and now my parent try to stop us from playing games and from buying new games so that the computer doesnt freeze. I hate my computer!!!!

My parents wont let me buy a new one they seem to think that this one is good enough but that is only what they think because me and my brothers think differently. My parents took off half of my games because of what was happening to the PC. So now we are limited to the amount of games that we are allowec to put in and that really sucks!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm...
Since I read nowhere what kinda computer sories, I'll just say this one...
I couldn't get UT(Unreal Tournament) working, even on the lowest graphics settings 'n' all. So I got my brother to come, and he played it perfectly well with all the settngs turned up nicely. Then I, wanting to play, tell him to let me play after a while, because it played perfectly, and so he gets up to let me play.
The very MOMENT my hand touches the mouse...
CRASH

Well the only thing that i can guess about that is that the computer sensed your craziness and didn't like it so it crashed.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by EzDay281 on 2004-02-13 at 20:28:14
I know what the problem is.
COMPUTERS EFFING HATE ME
They almost always mess up for me, AND I've never managed to make a Map, website, or anything right!
Report, edit, etc...Posted by en_taro_shrimpy on 2004-02-13 at 20:35:58
Well like I said before the computers sense your craziness and so they don't like you and so none of them ever work right for you.

Today, my internet slows to an effin' crawl. It's DSL, but it was worse than a 56k modem connection. It took 5 minutes to load SEN. Eventually, I reset the modem and connection abut 5 times, until it return to normal. Crazy thing.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by en_taro_shrimpy on 2004-02-14 at 13:13:44
We just got DSL and so far it has been working fine but we've only had it for about a week.
