Is there a way where I can set the status for a property of a buidling during the game. What I mean is a way to change the default of a buidling. So where you cannot build the building anymore. Its under Players>settings>units and there you can choose whether you want certain units avialible or not. I want that changed during the game. What im doing is im going to have an scv only being able to build a turret thats all. What I want to happen is after 3 turrets are on the map for that player, change the status for building turrets so they cant build them anymore.

So halfway it would look like this:
Players: Player 1
Conditions: -Player 1 commands at least 3 Defense Turret.
Actions: -How do I do what I explained above?

Any ideas?

I'm sure its possible but right now the only way would be to take away buildings required to build those or just destroy them when built.

The problem is I need the Scv's to stay. There main duty is to repair so I still need them. Anyone else know?

Well do u need the Engineering bay to stay? If you dont all you have to do is get rid of the engineering bay by destroying it, or by giving it to another player, incase u have it on unplacable terran and cant rebuild it.

That is the only way as far as I can tell to do that.

What are you talking about? Im making turrets and I want to disable the use of a turret while in the game. Nothing to do with a Engineering bay.

Well...you don't need to destroy it. If a turret costs(for example) 10 minerals. Give the player only 30!

That would orginally work except they get more minerals. So they could keep building.

Ok here are your options.

#1. You could have the engineering bay be destroyed so they can't build any more turrets past the 3rd, because of the tech tree.

#2. You could give the Engineering bay to a computer player, just incase as I said before they still need it later on say if they lose a turret and wanna build a replacement, and their engineering bay was placed on unplacable terrain.

#3. You can have any turrets built after the 3rd explode, display a message like, sorry only 3 turrets per person, and give them the minerals they spent on it(if you wanna be nice about it).

#4. You can have everything cost minerals, but have the turrets cost gas, and only give them 3 gas, making the cost of the turrets 1 gas. However this wont work if your using your gas as a counter, so ur only options are the first ones if this is the case.

Those are the only options that I know of that you can do to accomplish the effect of what you want.

As for Disabling the Turret being built as in not having the icon to make it in your build tray, unless its set through the whole game not to be available theres no way, sorry I know it would look cooler if it disapeared as the possibility to be built after 3, but it just isnt possible, your still going to have that grey icon there, or have it in ur build tray and not have the minerals to make it.

Hold on, do you want to disable the ability to build a turret (like it says in your first post) or do you want to disable the ability of the turret to attack?
