- Computers can stim pack inside bunkers (Once the bunker was destroyed, it showed marines were fast attacking for 5 seconds, not 15)
- Maybe Medics can heal units inside the bunker while she's inside (dunno yet)

Anything else?

Scourge attack damage should increase with upgrades

Mutalisks cost should increase to 125/100

Templar merge time should be reduced

Hallucination cost should be reduced to 75

Feedback cost should rise to 75

Ghost damage increased to 12 instead of 10

Medics resoration should be automatic when upgraded, yet still cost the same amout of energy

infested terran should be able to use guns instead of blowing up
zerg should be able to infest units with the queen

Hydras should be able to use the Claws. Ultralisk should be able to burrow. WHY THE FRICKIN FROCK DOES A HUMONGOUS UNIT LIKE THE FRICKIN BATTLECRUISER HAVE JUST ONE TINY LITTLE GUN AT THE FRONT?!?!?

That is kinda true... kinda, but imagine the energy that would be required for a big gun. I.E. more than half the ship would become a huge nuclear reactor.

I'm pretty sure the Colossus reactor is named that for a reason... maybe because its big? I think the BC has enough raw power for guns.

- More importantly, if its an ATA Laser "Battery" why is it only 1 gun, rather than a group of guns?

- #1 unfair thing in StarCraft: Blizzard took out the Independent side.

Tihnk of it this way...
The BattleCruiser's Laser Battery is one gun that fires out slower then a Marine, and does about 4x his damage...
In reality, how much more powerful is the main weapon on a BattleCruiser then a burst of shots from a footsoldier's rifle?!

Wow..I really extremly agree with you on the Hydra thing. I mean "What the hell" Acidy spit is ok...But cmon' they have these huge claws. USE EM. And the battlecruiser should have like 1000 guns on it, and the unit itself should be bigger, to suit the size of it. Same with the carrier. And the cost should be a lot more. And mabybe like, one per person. Til' it dies. That'd be pretty sweet.

You guys said em all for me. And the hydras, if they had claws, my warhammer map would be PERFECT.

Maybe the entire ship is used just to be able to stabilize and fire the Yamato Cannon.

Infested Terrans wouldn't use guns anyway. They are made from the Command Center, which makes SCV's, NOT marines.

I think maelstrom should be 75 as it lasts even shorter than lockdown.

- Everyone always plays same melee maps over and over again
- Friend Lists are way too small
- Only 8 players can play the games
- Not-so-advanced map editors (compared to wc3 ones)

That's so not a good idea, remember Revelade, Maelstrom affects multiple units.

So, Dark Archons don't have an attack, and Dark Archons are harder to make, and takes up more space... (I meant Psy)
Report, edit, etc...Posted by wesmic da pimp on 2005-04-01 at 11:33:55
well... come on now, no one gets ghosts for their attack, which is only 10 and its limited against just about everything, u only get ghost for lockdown/nuke, a dark archon would win the battle versus a ghost

Wow, you think after I spent 7 years playing this game I wouldn't know that. Gee, thanks.

The length of Maelstrom is too short, and even if it uses an larger area, it still doesn't justify this weakness. Lockdown lasts longer, is useful on many expensive units on Terran/Protoss and comes from a unit that costs cheaper than a Dark Archon. That means you can have 4 ghosts, with several lockdowns compared to 1 dark archon with fewer maelstroms, for the same supply cost. Coming from an expensive unit like the dark archon, I would have expected better from this spell. Sure it may work wonders on Zerg, but on Terran and Protoss, the odds are that their units will be mechanical. If you do get a decent Maelstrom, you need to rush in there and attack fast, otherwise, the spell is wasted. The fact is that a spell that comes from a unit that is expensive should not be weaker or harder to use than a spell that comes from a cheaper unit.

Well, also, the Dark Archon's main ability is Mind Control. Maelstrom and feedback I think are to just hold up slots (in the bottom right bar thingy.) Feedback is fairly good if you are facing somebody that doesn't use energy.w

I use Maelstrom alot. PvZ I always research Maelstrom first. It works great against large groups of Mutas or Guardians.

On Warcraft 3, the undead's spiders corrupted the nightelves from green leaves into purple leaves or called Satyr, the undeas can also make chaos orcs with the pitlord's blood and change green into red skinned, and what did they did for the humans... they are already the oppisite race. All nightelf buildings were corrupted. But for the orcs... it doesn't matter because they don't have morphing peons like nightelf does.

Your welcome, Revelade smile.gif

I prefer Maelstrom over lockdown anyday, u can easily eliminate 12 mutalisks with a maelstrom and a templar, whereas lockdown only gets one unit

Thats what makes it all the much more fun to make maps. Sometimes not as advanced editors spawns some great ideas.

The maps made with warcraft 3 are not as personalized in my opinion as the maps in starcraft are. I really can't explain it, but it never felt the same.

I think you guys are complaining about SC way too much, SC is perfect just the way it is smile.gif

Computers always know where you are in a game. They never need to explore to find and kill you.

-no ground turrets for terran
-At most, 12 units can be selected at once. (There should be a way you can select as many as you want, but more than 12 will show the wireframes of the different units and show a number of how many of each unit were selected. If more than 12 types of units are selected, then the wireframe should disapear and only tell how many units are selected). Since you can only select 12, its hard to mass a huge army without sending in a couple at a time, which is pointless if there is a fairly good defense to counter it.
