Hi, I was trying out the "tactical paths" map thats well, currently a featured map. I wont tell you my comments right now, except that I LOVED THE TERRAIN. Does anyone know what program the creator used to make it?

Also, I tried to download starforge (a ton of times), but when i try to install it, there's some wierd error and i can't do anything about it.

Thanks, help would be greatly appreciated.

ADDITION:
Actually I need help with a third thing, how do i change the thing underneath my avatar that says, "just here for the pie"?

THanks

The terrain was made using a program like SCMD2 or Starforge and if you have a Starforge problem you should post in the Starforge forum.

Its where you edit your profile, Custom Member Label., i believe, theres a blank box that says like title or something, if it's blank it'll be newbie or just here for the pie.

Yeah, thanks for that info, but I just tried like 2 other sites, same error. It's a bunch of underscores with [] every once in a while. Then it says "An unexpected setup error has occured.

Oh and Dr. Shotgun, what do you mean by lvl 1? I have a level?

  1. Use starforge 2.2. If you don't, your bound to get a lot of run time errors
  2. Don't waist your time downloading starforge from any other website. In most cases your going to be downloading a version of starforge that someone else modified. Download the most up to date from here: http://www.staredit.net/index.php?download=1525 . Since the person that made starforge (Heimdal) is on here and has his own dedicate forums here, you should know that we have the most up to date version of Starforge.

ADDITION:
As for the custom member title... you will notice I have 6 green bars under my name. Dr. has 1 green bar under his name. You need to have at least 1 green bar to change your custom member title.

Well, thanks everyone, I tried every single idea posted here, and everywhere else I could find. Still the same error, so I guess I'll just stick with SCXE. Thanks for all your help!

You need a certain amount of posts before you can change the member title...
