I was just wondering...what exactly can unit-sprites do? (And what use do they have?) besides colorful wireframes?

From what I understand, they are 'transparent', meaning that they can 'phase' through units. Or units through them, not quite sure which.

No.
Unit sprites are like units that have different properties to play with.
Such as they always have the default HP, so you can get 40/10 HP for a Marine.

And you can do what I did in this map.
(Never miss a chance to show-off....)

Maybe you could just download ScmDraft 2 and check for yourself. Theres like 500 something of them. There are a few cool ones that add cool effects to maps.

Yeah...I know what unit-sprites are...I just didn't know what they do. There are alot of them...for every unit and what-not. As of right now, I'm downloading the map and I'm going to try it out biggrin.gif

There are not 500 unit-sprites, there is exactly one unit-sprite for every unit. Unit-sprites have more in common with units than they do sprites.

Unit-sprites have a tendency to crash when attacked.
