I personally think they are overdoing the realism in this game, in real life, leather does not accumulate humidity over a time period of half an hour, guns do not blow up in your face and/or jam on you every two seconds, you don't have to clean your gun every 1 hour. Paperwork to fix a gun does not come back to you within 10 minutes.

Never played it. But it seems like a game where the developers wanted to make it very realistic. A revalution. But instead they just made it annoyin...

I've never played it either, but yeah... There's a fine line between video game and realism. In a truly realistic game, the characters would have to eat and sleep and use the restroom every day, but if that adds nothing to how fun the game is, it's completely pointless and even a total waste of effort.
The little things you describe sound like they're overdoing it. But from what I've heard from a friend, the ragdoll physics is amazingly realistic, and pretty fun too. And I think the sense of realism in a game will come from physics and art style anyway; adding anything else comes close to the realm of unnecessary.

bah when i played source i stopped playing right away for some reason taht i can't explain here. I like CounterStrike 1.6 much better but there are so many hackers right now in 1.6...

I hate CS. Only reason I hate what they did, is because like ten of my friends hate it and keep complaining to me. It's really freaking annoying.

its not that bad.... its really fun if u find a good server and/or play with your friends ( ONly if they're newbs HA)

are you talking about Counter Strike: Source??
becasue what you stated had nothing to do with Counter Strike Source, no leather, no cleaning your gun, no gun jams, guns don't blow up in your face....what game are you talking about becasue it's not counter strike source, and paper work...WTF are you talking about?

You are obviously talking about outdated Cs:Source.
Either that or you didn't learn the buttons to do these advanced features, and you were very lucky and your gun hasn't died on you yet.

and explain that i was in a game wuth just my friend and me, and we just had a lot of ammo and our guns never broke and we have the newest version

i did and when i start counter strike it's not doing the automatic updatte and i can not find a website that will let me get the manual update
