Well, the Pope died this evening in The Vatican

I just thought that some of you would like to know, and the Catholics (or Protestants, or atheists, or agnostics like me) could give their thoughts on the passing of this man.

I believe that he was a man who influenced the world for the good, and was a real man of the people. His death is a particularly sad event for many around the world.

You're not even Christian... maybe that's why?

I'm Christian by name, agnostic by nature. tongue.gif

Let's not turn this into another one of those topics, please.

Hmm... He was a good-intentioned man, maybe, but his condemnation of homosexualism really makes me unable to say he was a good man. He was a good man relative to the morality of the Catholic church, maybe. But that doesn't mean much.

I wonder who the next pope will be. Anyone have any ideas?

If my signature didn't already kick such an incomprehensible amount of ass I would be in My Controls right now.

One of the better popes. If you actually used your brain, for once, maybe you could have figured it out? There have been multiple popes in history, and John Paul II was one of the better popes throughout history.
