What character do u usually play in Timesplitters Future Perfect? All of the TS if u wanna!

I play Private Hicks on FP.

I wanna play Captain Forest like I used to in TS2.

TS1-Used to be Cap.Ash, then i unlocked Badass Cyborg and played him.
TS2- I think i used to play Cap.Ash again, then i unlocked Captain Forest and played him.
TSFP- Private Hicks. But im hoping they'll have Cap.Forest again, cuz he was good.

TS1: Pillar Alien (got to love that guy's starting animation)

TS2: The Impersonator (Elvis Lives!)

TSFP: Dr. Amy (great choice for Siberia - she blends in so well)

Of course, I play often as other characters too: Captain Ed Shivers ('Kiss me beard'), Time Assassin and Insetick SK/10 (that is one badass robot).

There are 146 other characters for me to choose from though. tongue.gif

INESTICK is cool, but i hate slow characters. My bro plays as the Drone Splitter mostly. Cuz his stamina is unbelievable!

Insetick SK/10 is really fast (same speed as Amy Chen) - it's Insetick SD/12 that is slow and crap.

I guess you haven't unlocked SK/10 yet - he's got black armour and orange 'eyes.'

o yea, i saw two of them, but i didnt bother looking at the other's stats.... cool. I remember one with glowing oj eyes...
I really wanna unlock that one female robot. I forget her name right now, but i know it once i start up TS.

Oh, Gretel?

Yeah, she's in TSFP. She has a dodgy catchphrase: 'With a little lubrication, I'm ready for anything.'

R109?

everybody loves R109! I hate slow characters. I like character with default+ speed and high stamina... if i could only find one like that...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by D_Scypher on 2005-04-09 at 02:26:35
Yeah, but I usually play with abilities disabled. I like high speed characters too... Though I'm so bad at hit-and-runs that high stamina ain't so bad either.

I have it 100% complete now.

Pox of Mox:
Get the first zone quickly, then head outside, activating the next zone before you go outside.

Go down the ramp outside and take the zone down there. The Koozer Moxes should be heading towards you now. Charge your gun and take them out (one shot will kill each). DON'T LET ANY OF THEM PAST YOU!

Now run to where they came from, on the other side of the launchpad. Fight your way up the corridor and take the next zone. If you can get a Plasma Autorifle, it gets much easier. Now hold your position in front of the last zone you took, and kill each Koozer as it runs around the corner. If some get past - chase them down.

You should get gold or platinum this way.

Captain Forest isn't in the game.

I tend to pick average stat characters - but I choose Amy Chen, Dr. Amy or Insetick SK/10 because they are faster but don't get a significant stamina penalty. Speed > Stamina unless you're up against Berserker Splitter - he has crazy amounts of health and takes almost 2 LX-18 clips to down in arcade.

I also hear that people really abuse the small characters online. There is one guy at the moment, called 'SnaBo,' who plays on Siberia as a monkey with an all pistols weapon set and powerups off.

He gets in the buggy and runs everyone over, and nobody can touch him because he's too short to shoot through the windscreen. Your only chance is a lucky headshot to the side as he drives past you.

Wow. Thanks alot. I havnt tried that yet but im sure itll work. You sound awesome at that game!

I dont like the trux in arcade because they're overpowered... Games like Vietnam Assault must be fun online!
Report, edit, etc...Posted by CaptainWill on 2005-04-09 at 13:21:01
Hmm, Vietnam is really easy for the attackers, so it isn't the most popular assault map.
The only sticking point is where you have to radio in the co-ordinates for the chopper, because it seems to take forever while the defenders can blaze away at you.

lol - I just remembered my favourite tactic as a defender there: I crouch behind the table with the radio on it, wait for some lone hero to disable the autoguns and come to radio in the helicopter, and then I just pop up and shoot him in the head. It's funny when you do that to a good player who's on a roll.

Training Ground, on the other hand, is really hard for the attackers if the defenders play their cards right. One good player can sit in the valley with the rocks and autoguns that leads up to the middle ground, and stop everyone from charging up. I know this from painful experience. My brother was the Crypt Zombie (he's really thin) and he strafed me into oblivion every time I started up the slope. On the rare occasions when I did kill him, he always seemed to respawn with his gun pointing right at my back. pinch.gif

Once you've secured the middle ground though, Training Ground is a piece of cake.

Mars Prison is a worthy assault map: It actually feels like you're assaulting a proper base, and I like defending there in particular. First of all, I like to snipe the attackers from the top floor. When I see one of them get through the hail of fire without dying - I know the wall is going to get blown. So I join a few comrades on the ground floor next to where the wall gets breached and prepare to repel the attackers' initial assault. Then you've just got to stop them from hacking the computer terminals for long enough to ensure that they only have a couple of minutes left to do the next objectives, because they're really easy.

Those are my thoughts on Assault mode anyway.

Yea, very agreed. I havnt tried Training Ground assault but i remember the League in TS (ARG!!!!!) when i beat it. But its fun when u plau arcade custom.

well, the best thing about Vietnam Assault is that u actually almost need someone to cover you while u call in for a heli. Thats why its hard to win when all ur team is bots.... They dont cover you. So i wait 5 minutes till they call in one and i do a perfect cover job. One time i didnt need cover-

Me vs My Bro (Bots included on both sides)
The first match when they were guarding that caveish thing i just snuck past him from the side. Then i did everything fine from there.

The rematch of this my bro was alitle harder to get thru, but i did... Then, it was alittle harder to call in for backup becuz i kep getting blown away. But then as my bro thought he was doing a good job I snuck by him and called in for assault. He was to busy attacking near the gun enplacement. Funny, becuz he was next to me the whole time, the split screen showed me calling in, and i was screaming things. He never noticed. After that-
Instant win.

The mars prison is pretty fun, guarding a wall. I like that alot too.

Pretty much i agree with u all the ways...

Character: Grettle or Jo-Beth Casey
Multi-Player Level: Venice or Zeppelin
Single-Player Level: Mansion or You Take The High Road
Weapon of Choice: Plasma Auto Rifle or the Monkey Gun

I'm indecisive. Yes.

That's her. She has great taste in cloths - and not just because it says censored.gif on her shirt.

Red + Black + Arm Warmers + Boots + Fishnet Stockings + Awesomely Cute Backpack = Rad

EDIT: We can't say censored.gif ? This is even worse than when we couldn't say bitch or censored.gif .
EDIT2: We still can't say censored.gif ? asjkhdgksfahg I'm going to the Penny Arcade boards.

I like choosing the scientist that does a breakdance.

"Time to unlease... the asskickyoolater!"

My friends enjoyed Siberia the most, but with Plasma weapons, since one of the recommended guns shoots through walls (COUGH COUGH farsight xr-20). We put the handicaps to -10 so it's somewhat realistic, meaning you can take more than 1 hit, yet not too many at the same time.

Anyone know how to get the triggers working in mapmaker? My friends and I spent all night figuring out how to make an assault map working.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by warhammer40000 on 2005-04-12 at 15:27:40
easy, i am the master mapmaker. I have an awesome assault/CtB(capture teh bag) map! And 3 maps based off a Killzone map.... and so on....

Well first, i HATE Siberia. I dunno why... I might warm up to it later... (get it?)

If you have any questions about the mapmaker, shoot. I know everything about it.. wink.gif

Best Map-

Undead something, or zombie lab? or wait... undead factory.... I FORGET WHAT ITS CALLED!

You start out in a roomw/ 2 shotguns. TTTOOONNNNSSSS of zombies come out of 3 rooms, and untill u kill 30 (or is it 35?), you cant advance. Then you advance and do cewl stuff. (the zombies in that room never stop spawning actually...)

To bad i only could play it due to hiding objects in impossible places...

Wow, this post is so fragmented and way out of order...

Unless it's story mode - then you have up to 50 bots. biggrin.gif
