I personally think that they should be combined, but it will probably be a bitch to do it.

Might as well. Many of the maps released into showcase need a lot more overhaulling anyway.

Gotta understand SEN isn't made for melee maps... Which is why it's so "dead". I still believe the 2 forums are okay in their separate ways.
I realize that SEN isn't made for melee maps, but that doesn't mean that having 1-4 posts per DAY in a forum is "fine". That is a dead forum.
Although, there is a reason why they are separate in the first place.
One is to talk about the mechanics of building a melee map,
one is to show off these created melee maps.
Showing off, and talking about are as different as light and day. Who cares if its a bit slow, its nice, neat, and organized.
Id hate to scroll through a forum to find a bunch of mixed forum topics talking about many different things. The current set up allows for me to enter one forum and see and talk about melee maps, and enter another one, and download maps.
Keep it the way it is.

I was more talking about the other forum, but this forum also goes through periods of over an hour where there are no posts, and then usually you come along and reply to six topics. That doesn't count as a lively forum.
And red2blue, it isn't that hard or stressful to differentiate between new-map topics and help-me topics.
Just kill the melee section while you're at it -.-
People come here for UMS maps. It's a chance we got these 2 forums in the first place, I don't see what we're all complaining about :/

10 bucks people are gonna start complaing about it in 1 month about the lack of "forum diversity".
As far as I know, the melee forum to itself is more populated than the hosted clan sections which takes a big-enough part of the page already...
Keep it seperate—all that needs to be said.
We should keep it separated..
