Alright, today I got my new car and I'm burning some Cd's out of my music here in my Comp to hear while I drive. (Put some good use to those new sub-woofers, I got Watts and watts of power!)
Anyways, I burn the music (.mp3) to a CD-RW and CD-R and both CD's or my Radio are being gay, they wont play.
Well, two things you need to check (Well, basic things)
1) Did the Cd(s) finalize?
2) Can the CD player even play CD-R/CD-RW (Let's hope so)
Otherwise, could just be that the CD is tilted, lens is dusty, aloty of things.
Also, Does the car play mp3's?
Well, if you got a decent program and drive, it should automatically change them into CD quality (.wav). Check for both though, just in case. And check if it'll play in any other CD player.
This reminds me, I gotta burn my CD :/
That happened to me once... Make sure that ur car is an MP3 Player. And make sure u didnt rush the burning process...
The radio is new.
The lens is new.
That could be that it doesn't play Mp3's.
I'll go check.
Yes I have been checking with my stereo.
If it CAN play Mp3's, then you shouldn't have to check to see if it can play CD-RW's. At that point, it's a given.

Use windows media player to burn it.
Make sure it says your burning it as an audio disk.
And use CD-R's, RW's aren't readable by very much.

It should not turn to wav or wma... It's supposed to turn into .cda format (Compact Disk Audio).
Use Windows Media to burn it or some other program that lets you burn .cda format cds. Make sure to finalize and everything, some players do not allow you to play nonfinalized cds.
I have been burning in Windows Media Player and it wont do anything except copy the .mp3 files to the CD and it won't play on any CD player, even the ones that can read .mp3's.
If you can, see if you can get Roxio Easy CD Creator. I use it and it works in all of the cars that we own.
That's the stuff I use too
How can CDs be gay?
They have no human traits.
Camo, that was stupid. yet i agree.
