when i try to paly it says map map is intended to be used with BW. i was useing BW...wha tthe heck?

I say try it again... or you can delete proedit and reinstall it... it is probably a minor malfunction... I'm not too good with it either...

im using 1.4.2, i redownloaded too.

ADDITION:
Alright you have to be the second person to report a bug in this forum for proedit, however neither of you have explained it good enough for me to recreate the problem and try to fix it. Thus, im currently assuming its human error that is causing this, because many more people downloaded 1.4.2 and they are not having problems.

PROEdit seems to have corrupted your VCOD section. Yoshi, you should check that out maybe?
I took off the protection on the VCOD section (replaced it with one from another map) and now it works fine (protected but can play on SC).

Edit: I think I accidentally uncompressed it but that can be easily fixed by üBeR@TiNg it.
