I am getting an error everytime i try to run the prereleases, do i have to put them in a certain place and do i have to have SCMD II as well as the prerelease?

The error i keep getting is: Fatal Error: Failed loading primary MPQ (C:\Program Files\Starcraft\Starcraft files/Starcraft Data)

Edit your default profile and check the MPQ settings

No, I had a pre-release running from my desktop for a while. As long as Starcraft is in the path set by the registry it should work fine. (the path you installed it to originally)

Hmm, i still have no idea how to get it working, wat do u mean by Starcraft is in the pathset by the registry?

Sorry, but im not good at making programs work...

Edit: Wat am i supposed to exactly have in the DATA MPQs part, keeping it the same 3 doesnt seem to work, but when i get rid of them 1 of the error goes away.

When you edit the default profile, set the Starcraft path as where you installed it. That fixed my problem you had in the first post. =/

If you installed Starcraft and didn't move it then it does NOT matter where SCMDraft 2 is.

go into your profile settings and edit the starcraft path example:
1. try to open scmdraft and wait for the profile select to pop up
2. browse for starcrafts folder on the starcraft path option
3. make sure you did not deleat the mpq settings it came with
4. it should be working now unless you messed starcraft up somehow biggrin.gif

Well i finally got it working, i dowloader prerelease #6 and then i deleted the mpq paths then it came up with an error, so i opened it up and it replaced the normal 3 with 3 different ones so i tryed them and #6 worked. Then the updated popped up and i dled #7 and extracted it and it worked.

Thanks every1 who attempted to help me.
