Alright,
I would have made a poll, but realized a bit late, after I had nearly finished it that you can only vote once, real bummer, perhaps you could have two kind of polls in SENv.5? Like, Voting, then Selecting? I might post that idea in, um.. That one place.... Extreme vagueness w00t.

On Topic -

'k.
This is sort've to see how experianced? We all are in gaming, well.. to see how open your range of gaming is.

The list includes the following -

Pen and Paper
Table Top
PC/Mac [We don't discriminate]
Console
Hand-Held
Sports [Unfortunately, it is a type of game..]
Online Gaming
Role-Playing
Old Schoole [Like, Atari 2600]

Any suggestions - Tell me, I'll ad on.

Now,
After each Catagory, name a game you played on it.
[I know I have Console, then old schoole, Old schoole is like when there was only Arcade machines to Atari, this excludes the Famicon/NES]

Pen and Paper - Attempted to play once, an RPG my friends had made, this failed horrificly. So I've never really played a true P and P game.

Table top - Warhammer 40k, Warhammer Fantasy, The LOTR minituare things, then quit.

PC/Mac - Obviously, we've all played these, Halo PC, Doom I, Doom II, Doom 3. smile.gif Not sure if Mac.. well.. can always mention SC for Mac wink.gif

Console - Xbox - Halo. Ps2 - Time Splitters 1. Game Cube - Resident Evil 4. SNES - Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past [w00t] NES - Duck Hunt. Sega Genesis - Sonic [smile.gif]

Hand-Held - GameBoy - Return of Samus: Metriod 2. Gameboy Color - Legend of Zelda, those two series they had about Time and Seasons.. not sure of the name sorry :\. Nintendo DS - Metriod Hunters Demo.

Sports - Played tennis for school, when I was twelve.. Long ago.. well not that long ago, but pretty long ago.

Online Gaming - Simple. StarCraft.

Role-Playing - ... I don't know if I consider this.. but I do RP alot on StarCraft, well used to. Lol.

Old Schoole - Atari ####? Not sure of the number, I just remember playing Frogger on one of them.

By the way, if yall think I should just include "Old Schoole" into Console section or not?

Anyways.

Pen and Paper - Can't say I have.

Table Top - Warhammer 40000 until I was 14 years old. I collected Space Marines and later, Orks. I really only bought them to paint though. I made some of those Orks look so badass - but my brothers stole them and played with them. Yeah - they are missing limbs.

Mac - Various small pieces of shareware/freeware; EV:Nova (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!1!shift+one!); Starcraft; Hearts of Iron; Europa Universalis II; iPoker 3; Master of Orion 3; Savage Demo (Cool mix of RTS and FPS),

PS2 - Too many games to count, but currently playing: Timesplitters: Future Perfect; Mercenaries; Star Wars: Battlefront.

Hand-Held - Haven't played on one of those for ages, but I have a Gameboy emulator on my comp.

Sports [Unfortunately, it is a type of game..] - Currently none, but I was a competitive swimmer until 2 years ago and I still do the occasional bit of swimming or running.

Online Gaming - Starcraft, Savage Demo.

Role-Playing - No thanks.

Old Schoole [Like, Atari 2600] - I used to have an AMIGA A520 and I played lots of cool games on it. Like 'The New Zealand Story' (awesome platformer) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
My dad threw it away years ago. sad.gif

Some more about Savage (shameless plug):

In this online only game, you play as a team with up to 31 others, and similar numbers on the opposing team. You can either be the Commander or a foot-soldier.

If you're the commander, you're basically playing the game as an RTS, but your units are actual human players (apart from your workers). You are responsible for getting the resources rolling in; making sure your players' weaponry and equipment isn't obsolete; financing your players who do not have the personal funds to buy good weapons; granting powerups to give them an edge in battle, and doing various other things.

It isn't as complex as it seems. In fact, I find it a lot easier to play than Starcraft, as it's nice to have units who will take the iniative and co-ordinate their own attacks (you can promote good players to officer status in order to give them the ability to do this). Of course, sometimes you get noobs who spend all the time dying or killing NPCs and disobeying orders, but most of the time you'll have at least one competent player on your team.

As a unit (you can swap between commander and soldier positions in-game to defend the base if nobody's around etc.), the experience is different. There might be orders to follow - you might have an incompetent commander, or you might want to get siege weapons and demolish the enemy base. Unfortunately, I found that you really need to have some skill to succeed in this area. Strafing and jumping comes into play a lot here, as do cheap tactics. I normally end up with a lot of kills, but a very bad kills/losses ratio.

So that's a synopsis of Savage. It's a nice concept and a half-decent game.
