This may be a common problem with a simple solution so please forgive me..
Everytime I make a map with the "create units at a location" trigger, it creates 3x as many units. For example:
Cond: Switch one is set.
Actions: Create 1 Zergling at Location 1.
When I test the game, it creates 3 zerglings instead. Same thing happens with other units and other numbers. When I put 2 it creates 6, 3 creates 9.
This always happens, reinstalling wont help. Clean version of SC Edit did it and Xtra Editor does it too.

Your trigger is being activated for more than one player. If you have it set for all players and the conditions are still true after each run, it will run once for every player.
To fix this, make it execute only for a single player (one of your computer players, if possible) or put something in the actions that will make the conditions false after it runs once.
And for future reference, give your topics a more specific title.

I've had the same problem too, it confused me like hell. I've been thinking about it for a long time, but then I came to the solution.
Just add the trigger Kill/Remove xxx Units at location After the units have been created, make a trigger:
Player x brings at least 2 unit X to location X
Remove 1 unit X at location X Preserve trigger
That worked just fine for me
[EDIT] ergh well, if Heimdal's thing works this is useless [EDIT]

You have the the trigger in the Forces, move it to the person(s) who you want that to happen. Try not to use forces until you fully understand them.
