Which editor do you think is the best?¿?
(please post any you think should be on here)
heh heh heh
You do realize StarDraft by itself can't make maps? Its a mod making program. Try changing that to SCMDraft.
You can add StarForge as well.
Yea this poll is an easy one.. SCXE.. remake it but add Starforge and other ones then we will ahve some diffrence. but id still vote SCXE... im jsut to used to it

SCXE is the orginal ownage editor. Its only limits are the ones defined by the Starcraft engine.
I'd have to say Draft and StarForge, since I don't like Xtra.
until I have triggers probably SCXE ;( but once I have triggers I intend for that to change

I'm too used to regular staredit, so SCXE is the best choice until starforge or scmdraft seems more like staredit
SCXE because I haven't used any of the other ones...
SCXE, because it isn't as bugged to hell as the other ones (I know about the add-on bug in 2.6, but still...). Plus, the launch menu is pretty handy, as I have all my SC related programs that I use a lot on there.
I like SCMDraft, do to the fact that I'm used to it more than StarForge. But that's just my opinion, so, meh.
I use SCMToolkit occasionally, for player colours and other weird stuff that I experiment with. Maybe you should add that in also.
SCXE. Other than SCXE, Emerald, SF, and maybe a few other ones(like zapplacer), I haven't been able to use any of them. You should add zapplacer or something. Anyway, the reason is...:
I'm used to SCXE. That and, next to StarForge, it has the most capabilities and stuff, plus it's got less bugs and stuff than SF, being it's a non-Beta version heh. But once SF reaches 1.00, it'll PWN SCXE.
Xtra is a nice editor. I just like to use Starforge because it adds so many "special" features like p12 and beyond, unit grid placement, editable hp/sh beyond 9999 or negative ones... I'm just going to say that Xtra is the best right now, but Starforge is constantly improving as we speak so it will be better soon.
Hmm, SCMDraft seems to be really unpopular here. I don't know why, i find it easier to use than StarForge. Not the StarForge is bad, but I have a hell of a time trying to use the terrain editor. I also don't really like the layout, but that's just my opinion. SCMDraft, thanks to the new version, can do stuff like sprites, and most importantly of all, the undo and redos button! No editor can function without that! Oh well, I guess it is personal preference.
I like Xtra-Editor because i dont use or need another.
By the way: Could u send me that SCMtoolkit program SpaceBoy
