I have an rpg in the works and i want to beable to have them select Aldarus but multiple people able to select him and if they die if they get revived for them to choose it again, so heres my problem I dont wanna make like a storage of Aldarus's, but Create Units Doesnt work for the xtra units I.E. Aldarus, but i dont know if theres a special way to do it, and yes i know i can use tassadr but i want them to have a next level of templar.
PLZ HELP!!!
You cannot spawn/creat X-tra units with triggers. They have to be pre-placed and moved. There is not other way to do it.
As far as I know you need a supply of them.
Don't Tassadar and Aldaris share an attack anyway (making it impossible to up the person's attack between levels?)
You could perhaps put a burrowed ling underneath the player and make Aldaris invincible, and when the ling dies, move the Aldaris to another location and resuse it, but that seems like too much work.

Yes.
They share attacks yes, but I don't see how that makes upgrading impossible.
I'm not sure where, but I think I saw a map that actualy creates X-tra units. I don't know how, but if I find it, I'll tell you what it does.
I've looked at it, and X-tra units seem to appear out of nowhere. If someone uses one out of the total of somewhere around 20, then even if it dies, there's still 20 in the map. It's odd.

What I mean is if he wants a substantial increase in attack between levels, he can't do it. Of course you can still upgrade using a Forge, so this problem could be worked around by giving the player a large amount of minerals when they level up.
I'm interested in seeing that map Ezday. Right now I'm puzzling over how that could be done...

Why are people always so obsessed with upgrading attack every level? There are shields, HP, armor, and abilities you can also change (not direct sc unit abilities but ones you can make and set yourself).

I'm not obsessed with changing units every level, the unit doesnt upgrade til level 25, and I dont want that person to be stuck with a high templar that doesnt do any damage for that long.
Also this map that I'm making will have alot of stuff in it for upgrading in levels, So far I have HP, Units, MP, Weapons & Armor, and Spells.
MP=Magic Points, just incase you didn't know.
I'm going to start a post about spell suggetions when I'm done with this post, because I can't think with all the other stuff right now.
