I was reading through the write-up about sprites, and it said some insane things, like clicking on certain sprites plays the "Your base is under attack" clip. There were several other things like that having to do with sprites (and more in the entire knowledge database). Does anyone know why this stuff happens? I'm a programmer, so I am very interested in this. Is it a buffer overflow? That is the only thing I can think of that would cause this stuff.

Yeah basically. Sprites, disable/enable doodad, extended player units (p13+), and hallucinated resource powerups (a specific glitch discovered not too long ago) are all known to produce assorted odd effects.
Thats ridiculous, i knew you could do all that stuff but i wasnt aware of the sounds... i gotta try.
But why does all of that insane stuff happen?
From a modder's point of view, why is StarCraft detecting sprite clicks? The sprites I've created with iscript never are clickable. Are you packaging your sprites as units or something?
He must be talking about sprites that are drawn as units.
I don't know, I read it in something on this site (and now I don't know where it is T_____T).
