HEroS[v1.0]
Information:
I made this game sometime in... January '05 when I was really bored. If you don't understand it, then that's a good thing. It's not meant to be understood. If you do need a rough translation, then here it is: you're a hero hired by the King to find his stolen treasure. You have to find it without losing all your lives. Simple enough, eh? Not really. There are bad men who roam around the map, and when you touch one you lose a hit point. You can take 3 hits and then you lose a life.
There, that's the only translation I'm giving you. The rest will never make sense to you, and I hope it doesn't.
Side Notes:
This is the second map I've ever submitted (the first was Guerilla Tactics[v1.2]), and I think I may be submitting a lot more of my work.
If you ever beat this, take a screen shot of the victory (or better yet, save the replay) and e-mail it to me (if you save a screen shot, Bitmap file would be most helpful) and I will release the sequel and put your name the person to be credited. Once someone HAS sent me proof of their victory, I will post an update to make sure no one gets disappointed 'cause they were too late.
I hope you enjoy my map!
Map Size: 64x64
Triggers: 34
Locations: 15
Inspiration: I thought of this while playing Mario Bros. at my friend's house (demented-yoshi), and here it is. It doesn't make any sense, though.
Lives: 5
HP: 3 Hits (before you lose a life.)
Testers: demented-yoshi, hello-to-you, SonicWolf359 (They only tested, nothing more.)
Only Winner Ever (so far): hello-to-you
UPDATE:
Shift (STC-Grim on B.net) has beaten this, so no reason to send screenshots/replays anymore. Although you can if you really want to. Check out for the sequel, HEroS 2!
But still, why would you want to make your map have a bunch of messed up words put together? It makes the map look bad. The only reason I can think of why someone would do that is to portray a character in their map.
Excellent work, Shift! I'll put your name in the sequel, and submit it to SEN right away! Congrats!
Oh, and the reason I threw in the spelling errors and stuff was because I was trying to make it humorous. I guess it did not work. Oh well...
