I have just started using this editor and I ahve ended up corrupting a number of maps due to the unit count error. Says the unit count it off or something and hence after saving it i cant reopen the map... is there a way to check this or prevent this before saving?

If you are using scmdraft 2 email the corrupted maps and uncorrupted versions of the maps to suicidal_insanity@stormcoast-fortress.net

What it says when i try to save is "Unit Count Mismatch, Possiable Corruption" but basically it IS corrupted and i can enver reopen the map. It typically happens when i place a building over another building.. or even over laying it a little then end up deleting 1.

If you want I'll decorrupt the corrupted maps that you have.

Chill, insantity. Don't worry about it, programmers make bugs all the time. You can see many examples on this site lol

well make sure the bug is gone as a favor for me will ya?
and you dont need to do save as, scmdraft should make backup of the last 20 times saved.

yoshi: umm, no? I dont touch VB, waaay too slow and you cant do all the nice fancy tricks in it I need. scmdraft 2 is pure win32 c++.

Ahhh... c++. Complex yet efficent. It looks like VB for some reason tongue.gif

Aight ill check it out once i get home from work, but as for it backing up, either im retarded and cant find it or it wasnt backing up. Because i tried reloading the map and it was completely corrupted.

When placing sprites this happens, when placing doodads the doors are fine, just raised a bit too high.
Once I add iscript animation to sprites they should be displayed flipped accordingly.
