But actually, I wouldn't like to see any more R.E. RPG's; they have taken over the RPG community. That is mostly what everyone plays, and it's getting quite annoying (R.E. RPG's, and the occasional LOTR).

I happen too be a very big resident evil fan so here are some ideas:

Some originality in the map, perhaps some war scenes of the Raccoon Policeman Fighting the Carriers. Maybe watch a Tyrant mutate into a bigger B.O.W or have William Birkin experimenting with the G-Virus sample.

Perhaps you should show what effects the T-Virus has in hour stages. Withen a week of being infected with the virus you will turn into one.

Maybe have cenimatic scenes of the storyline, and a real good detailed background for the map..

Also a really good intro, im sick of seeing RE maps that just start and your mission is too kill, actually have RP's in it.

Perhaps a character selection with a wide veriaty such as: Chris Jill Brad Leon Bary Claire Ada etc.

Have multiple missions and tasks that must be performed too achieve victory, no more of just finding keys and killing.
