I go to log on B.net and it displays this:
Unable to Initialize Network Provider.
Can someone tell me what that means, or what I need to do?
HELP ME!

I was on B.net like 2 hours ago!
Try to get your SC CD out before connecting to battle.net (gateway screen). Used to work for me.
So take the disk out of the drive and re-insert it?
ur cd must be hot or something
depends on what version your disk says
I have 2 CD's, I just traded to my newer one, and all that happens is it just loads faster. But, I am still unable to connect with B.Net.
Try restarting your computer. That tends to fix things even though they have nothing to do with it.
I have restarted three times.
"network provider"?? what internet company are you with?? (ie: telstra,optus...)
just a stab in the dark here but that *may* have something to do with your provider.. but please i have no idea..

mailto:support@blizzard.com
can't connect either...
Blizzard didn't help...
they said to do the stuff that you do to get to the email support...
My error:
Connection interrupted
---or---
Unable to connect, check to see if your connected to the internet (looks like I am connected, or else I wouldn't be here now would I?
I fixed everything...
It had to do with the stardat.mpq for some reason....
I had it moved into a seperate file for some unknown reason. I moved it back and SC worked fine.
So, therefore I am closing this topic.
