Moogle Whacked up Combat System Idea!!
Note to People:
These just ideas guys, if you would like use my idea or make it more complex then go ahead all i want is some bloody credit.. (Bloody people rip off alot ideas *sigh)
Turn based engine, each player / enemy has speed. Depending on player speed depends who goes first. Player has box top right 4 boxs in a row. While enemy has a box under that, which is only 3 boxs wide. (boxs must be 2x2 or 4x4 radius atleast) When player/enemy turn, will draw 4/3 cards. For enemy first two boxes = Attacks and last = skill. For player first 3 = attacks last one = skill/magic/defend. So here is attack lvls.
Player Attack Lvl:
Attack Level 1: X Second Attack Brust
Attack Level 2: X Second Attack Brust
Attack Level 3: X Second Attack Brust
Attack Level 4: X Second Attack Brust
Attack Level 5: X Second Attack Brust
(X can be any number you want)
For skills you can select from a a menu of your choosing, dropship menu, civilian to beacon and so on, same with your magical powers. Enemy attack power isnt at same level as yours but bosses is 2 lvls higher to increase the threat caused by them. Defend, now you'll have work out how your going do this, put a unit under hero with X amount hp and armor when that unit dies enemy then can weaken you in X seconds then unit gets respawned back under you and enemy has rekill it so he can weaken you again or just make your hero protoss n give shield. Getting on to world map area, i hate see them maps with units roaming around can get some what annoyin get into battle. So just place location over a field of area name it " Forest " or whatever, have different arenas for different areas. (save locations just move locations area the areas where units are burrowed) Use a count down timer with randomized switchs. Example, Custom score 14, randomized switchs take away 1 to 5 atmost, every time you hit 0 you enter battle if your in combat field. I hope you like this and kupo you later.
