What kind of system are all of us running here?!
I actually built my own rather then paying those bastards at Alienware 4 grand to make me one...

Athlon XP3000+
ASUS A7N8X Deluxe
1 Gig Corsair LL RAM
Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB
Sound Blaster Audigy
10/100/1000 Ethernet Card
2 120 Gig DiamondMax Hard Drives (RAID)

All of this is encased in a the Thermaltake Xaser A2000C
as well as each item having its own cooling unit, i've also improved apon my current Volcano 11+ Heatsink by modding it with a Air Duck giving it better cooling. Later on I may end up going Liquid cooling but as of right now my computer is actually relatively quiet with the 10 fans running in it, it stays at about 26 degrees celsius.

So how about everyone else?

Yea my system is all basic though, im not overclocking censored.gif . Of course once i built my computer.. the Athlon 64 bit came out and i was PISSED but oh well... ill just use this one as a server or something and build a new one happy.gif

But as far as mine is I have tons of room for expansion.. hell my case can hold 6 hard drives... as far as set up goes i got a nice matching keyboard and mouse that i got from the Thermaltake site, and a surround sound speaker system for computer... day of defeat never sounded so good... blink.gif

Meh mine is a high end system... through a company like alienware (who would be the only comapny to make something as powerful) it would cost around 3500-4000 dollars... i built it for under 2000

Mine is a Dell Dimension 4550.

64mb GeForce 4
Pentium 4 @ 2.0ghz
256ram
100harddrive
santa cruz 5.1 dolby digital sound system
harmon kardon 5.1 surround sound speakers
1 slot burner
1 slot dvd
logitech laser mouse basic
15 inch screen

All this under $1000.

The reason it is so cheap is... if you get the best memory (Corsair LL) a gig is about 300 bucks. A GOOD grapics card Radeon 9800 pro 256 thatll run you 500 bucks, top is with a superior alluminum case another 200 bucks... thats what really does the big improvments on the computer performance wise and cooling wise and those are the ones that cost the Big Bucks.
