I have a problem all, I don't know hot to get perfectly square tiles. All I get are those nasty little rectangles, not squares. is their something I need to know? I have programs and all...like ISOM. Why does it always give me 2 blocks instead of just 1?

Starforge is the best for terrain editing.

That is, if you have the time.

Thanks all, I will get both and try both out, so, yea. Unless their is anything more I should know...

Starforge looks promising, but currently I find SCMdraft to be less buggy. I like Starforges custom terrain selection slightly better, but I'd like to see an "Always on Top" thing tongue.gif

Would you agree that SCM Drafts Terrain editor is better than GUedits? Most people would, Its called User Friendly. And Starforge is easyer for me to use than SCM draft 2, It has Custom pallets witch is like a big clipboard for copy and paist, I prefer the method if brush size changes and how terrain tiles are on the side, You can make the Master pallet bigger so i can veiw more of the tiles at a time and I don't have to have a big pallet when doing basic sqaure tiles with drop down list that include a scroll bar (wtf is with that). Like it said it is my opinion and yes I know what starforge does to the Isom section so don't mention it were talking about sqaure terrain now. Maybe you should consider looking more into ease of use and less into "I can do that too" cause in your defence GUedit is just as good as SCMDraft 2.

yeah, hence the use of the 8[ smiley =p

and if you told me you were joking I dont know whether I would believe you as it seems to be closer to a rant than a joke wink.gif
Ease of use all depends on the setup... if I have all the palettes open on my left monitor and scmdraft on the middle monitor I lose 0 screen room, however if I had only 1 monitor and it was set to 800x600, I agree palettes would clutter the screen a bit.

LOL, I wish I had dual moniters again. It worked fine, but my stupid room kept getting so hot. Maybe I should hook it back up since its winter...

My desk looked very similar.. except im only using a single monitor tongue.gif but it was just as messed up... but unfortunatly i had to clean it... girlfriend is a neat freak lol
Report, edit, etc...Posted by SI on 2004-02-26 at 09:57:01
yeah, golden eye rocks, I have it and 4 other 007 DVDs here, going to buy more when the store has a sale again, get all of them except the newest one (which sucked imo).
I agree 19" flats own, my center monitor is one, some day when I can spare the cash I'll buy another one and sell the CRTs.
I have a second desk same size next to this one, there are times where both are piled high with books / paper etc from college, other times where they are relatively clean. Noone complains too much when its messy.
