So you just basically want a unit to cloak permenatly at a spot where it does not move? If so just do this

Ex.

Trigger
Description:
Any Player
Conditions:
¤ Always
Actions:
¤ Disable Doodad State For "Marine" for player "Owner of unit" at Location "Wherever"
¤ Preserve Trigger

No he wants it to be able to move. And when he does then it crashes.

MAC? wat's MAC? Well its another type of computer called Macintosh (i think thats how you spell it) There might be something wrong with other triggers affecting it maybe.

Microsoft makes software, not hardware. Macintosh is a software/hardware package. It's an alternative to the common PC.

Anything you might want to know about the MAC can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apple_Macintosh

As for the cloaking, you can only cloak some units with the diable doodad state trigger, and zerglings aren't one of them. If you try to disable zerglings, it will crash, but you probably already figured that part out.

Didin't someone make cloaked zergling blood before? I remember I heard it mentioned here in this forum.

Macs are only a problem when it comes to extended players and units.

Trigger
Conditions:
¤ - Whatever (Bring?)
Actions:
¤  - Give to Player 8 (Unless spawns as player 8, or another player)
¤ - Move for Player 8 (Unless spawned for computer)
¤ - Disable
¤ - Wait (111ms)
¤ - Enable
¤ - Wait
¤ - Enable
¤ - Order at Location to Location
¤ - Move for player 8 to human area
¤ - Give from player 8 to human player

With it cloaking as player 8 it disables crash for certain units.

NOTE: I have problem where I have this (same map stats and all) and it works; so I copy exactly into a map and it crashes. Not sure why, but it does.

Yeah, don't tell me you can't cloak Zerglings, there are a number of maps of that sort in the DLDB! Like 'Cloaked Zergling Blood' as mentioned before, and also 'Zergling Hide n' Seek'. That cloaks zerglings tongue.gif

I'm pretty sure Zerg hide n'seek is not cloaked lings. They are just hiding behind doodads and stuff like that.

ok... i got it... i made it not crash but sometimes when you die.... you crash... WTf???? explain. u can move it and all but if u die.... Boom Crash...
Report, edit, etc...Posted by l)ark_13 on 2005-04-22 at 18:12:30
Could be Terrain... Maybe? The thing with cloaking units that aren't suppose to be cloaked is you cant watch them be cloaked, and maybe you cant watch the zerglings die while cloaked on this Terrain? What Terrain do you have anyways?
Report, edit, etc...Posted by sckor on 2005-04-22 at 22:34:47
You don't have to enable it twice.

Off topic, but you can also make a unit permanently cloaked via modding.
Report, edit, etc...Posted by O)FaRTy1billion on 2005-04-23 at 20:30:45
Zerglings CAN cloak, but for some reason they crash under certain conditions. Like if you make a map with a beacon and every unit in the game, zergling won't crash. Put it in another map, boom; hello desktop! (where did "Hello desktop" come from?).

I am working on a list of what units crash where (tilesets.)
Like people claim Dark Archons crash; not on badlands they don't!

A very popular game that was made to crash when the game started.
People would be like "WTF!" then "Oh, hello deskop..."
