Staredit Network

i did a wae serch for sc thats how i found staredit how did you find yours???

Oddly mine was in a map test. I was in a game and I was like "How'd you do this and that" so he's like I used X-Tra editor. I asked where to get it and hell he said SEN so heh that's how I got here.

I typed in www.staredit.net.
Now, is anyone else wondering Why in God's Name this thread is in GAMING?!

did someone tell u or did you see it on a sc game or a serch or something like that not that u typed it in

Anyways, here is how it all started.

Wanted to get X-tra editor because I was going crazy over stacking units...
Did a search for it and it brough me to www.scindex.com. Later I checked the affiliates and found www.staredit.network. I did not join right away. I started to do some mapping stuff with the help if the good tutorial then I decided to join for a reason I forgot.

I got here by searching on google "map making tricks'. Then i found it

I found this place along time ago when I visited the (U) site, and they recently got forums. The skin was all white, and I looked around for a bit. I came back later when I got back into Starcraft.

But in that case I'd be lying.
I told you exactly what I did.
Or do you want more details?

Approximately two years ago, give or take a half, I got interested in mapping.
So, I decided to try looking up Starcraft and Mapping sites.
At that time, I had a little experience from unrigging, better balancing, and occasionaly bug-fixing maps.
At this time, I was 11. Or was it 12? I forget.
Oh wlel, whatever.
Anyways, being the way I was, I searched "starcraft mapping tools", "starcraft maps", "starcraft", "broodwar", etc. on Yahoo, which I at the time preferred to Google.
I tried typing www.starcraft.com, www.broodwar.com, www.starcraftbroodwar.com, www.sc.com, www.scbw.com, and so forth into the address bar. At that time, I used Netscape.
This is also only a couple months before I got into modding.
Now, I'll jump forward a few weeks. I decided to go into the address bar and type "www.staredit.com" into it. I can't remember what I got, but nothing of use. Blablabla, I remembered that some sites are .net rather then .com, so I typed "www.staredit.net" into the url.
lucky me, I saw SEN. It wasn't much at the time, comapared to now, but it was only the third forum I had ever gone to(first being battleforums, second being Kirby's Rainbow Resort... wait, I can't remember whether SEN or KRR came first...).

So, in very, very short...
I TYPED "www.staredit.net" AND CAME HERE.
NOT EVERYONE COMES HERE BY SEARCHING GOOGLE, GETTING TOLD TO GO HERE, LOOKING UP MAP EDITORS, MAPPING TRICKS, AND SO FORTH.
SOME PEOPLE JUST USE THE ADDRESS BAR.

Oddly, I was searching for a Stack hack..

I went to the map making tools first and it said "For more map making help, check out Staredit.net" or something like that and it was a link to the Map Making tricks Archive, pinned in the Clan (U) forum. Eventually, I erased all the Show topic= and got this website

I was searching for maps, I believe, possibly Xtra, and I got to "Omega" I believe, and then found a link to SEN... I know I found it through another site though. So.

If found the site in a sarch for "starcraft"

Same here... although when I first got here, everyone still had those spinny avatars (Level 1, Level 2...), and I thought... meh... it's not as big as BlizzForums, I'll stay over there... but I kept watching it anyway.

Finally, something popped up that interested me: extended units. Someone was making a list of extended units, so I registered for the first time. That thread has been lost somehow. I reregistered later after I forgot the password to my old account.
