Actually D2 is nearly at 20-30$ while D1 is at 50$ around here... It's kinda... Not selling anymore. And it's rare...

Your best chance to find Diablo on the internet is on P2P networks. Try with Edonkey/E-mule.
Edit: I don't think buying Diablo is a waste. At any rate,you will be wasting money if you pretend download it. Even more,it could be cheaper to buy it than to download it...

It would be faster to buy it, rather than wait 2 days of downloading and finding out the game is corrupted.
EXAMPLE: dling WoW for 3 FULL days and finding out it's corrupted and get nothing out of it.

Well i agree with that whenever i find a game that i really like i always buy it... its not like 50 bucks (When it was brand new or any other new game for that matter) is really going to make a dent in my wallet... besides if it really is a good game i will get years of enjoyment out of it

anyway with a 10mbit con i dl a game in 10-15 min and i dun burn em.. daemon tools is faster 
.. so dling a game that works takes 15 min and going to the store and buying it maybe takes 1 hour so dling is faster, atleast for me..

Well now i can dl most anything in no time at all with my cable connection at home... but i tend to use my office for other things... like that one point i got broed at work so i downloaded every campaign that CC had on the site at once and burned it on a cd to play at home... took me like a few minutes... i only use it when i am downloading large amounts fo files at once or something massive... like 500 megs.
