Dunno much about it though.

According to this (GI) it says it's going to be like a home media center, High-Def, music, movies, the works. You can store music on the Hard Drive and play them on any game for it. You have a new gamer profile for Xbox Live that include a buttload of stuff, (Hours played, name, Rank [Out of every game, not just out of each game], mottos, ect). Only thing that looks bad is that I think you have to pay for most things on Xbox Live (Maps, sounds, ect.), but apparently lets you get things such as new weapons, vehicles, so meh.

Anyways, looks pretty cool. No release date yet.

EDIT: Oh yea, also says there will be no controllers with wires, only wireless one.

The Xenon sounded so much better as a name. They only picked 360 since the name would "up" the other consoles namewise. --';;

I never like having a console named after and element. X-box 360 sounds better than Xenon... Pic looks pretty cool too

I think we should have a choice of wireless controllers or make them have wires.

1.They will probably cost more than wired controlers. Meaning you pay more if you like it or not.
2. More interferance with wireless.

It does look pretty cool if it had no slots...but still. Just my opinion.

And if u lose one part, it's no good... or you have to buy another one...

The xbox 2 console pictures i found are fake and that was a lot. That picture could be fake because it's didn't come from a real official website. (If it did, then nvm)

Dude on xbox 1, you can get it repaired (or replaced) for free or a very cheap price. (i forgot if it's free or cheap)

Xenon sounded better then 360. 360 is an ugly number.
And anyways, it would be cool if they went with the codename both times

they named it 360 cause it has 360 bit graphics

just like Nintendo 64 was named with 64 cause it had 64 bit graphics

360 is like degrees, comes up from 90 degree angles, if you play skateboarding, you will know like a 180 ollie spin or something liek that. 90 is half a spin, 180 is a full spin and 360, 540, 720 and the 900. If you watch Dance 360, they do spins. Please EzDay2, don't get it into math.

Why would they have degrees in it though? It's not like the box starts spinning, or can twist people necks 360 degrees (Hehe, stolen from Splinter Cell).

I also doubt that its graphics either. It's usually

1,2,4,8,16,32,64,128,256,384,512,1024,2048 ect. 360 just doesn't seem like a graphics amount.

They probably just want it to look fancy with a name that has a big number. Or it CAN snap peoples necks

Yoshi, xbox said "why are peoping making games in xbox 1 when xbox 2 is coming out?" and also Starcraft: Ghost is coming out in xbox 2, ps2 and nintendo gamecube.

Don't forget, games from Xbox 1 will still be compatible with Xbox 2 usually.

Are you sure? Because then why did they ask that kind of question? PS1 games may have went on to PS2 is that why ps2 has more games then xbox, but this may have a possibility that xbox won't move their xbox 1 to xenon.

are u serious? their not making starcraft ghosts for PC?

They're going to have to uber downgrade it for it to be able to run on the ps2 and gamecube compared to the Xbox2.

Im jsut curious that if you have Xbox 2 would you be able to play Xbox Live with the old games and possiable play the game agenst people on the old system...
That would be a cool idea and also a good selling stratagy because the people with the Xbox360 would tell them

True that, oddangel but maybe it'll be like the expansion for brood war. you can go on live o the xbox 1 games and talk to other people, but you cant play with em...
