did you check your triggers? maybe it's just a careless mistake
(eg wrong location,wrong player etc.)

Did you make it that if they have exactly 500 gas they attack? Change to at least if you did because maybe you have more than 500 gas so then they won't attack.

Try posting the trigger you made.

You probably used the 'Attack' order to make them attack the Terran, that won't work.
You can only use the attack order to attack buildings, since you can only order to locations and units, unlike buildings, are not tile-based, so the order ignores them.

Instead, you should use the 'Patrol' order.
Patrol works like 'Move', with only two differences:

1. Unlike in 'Move', where units ignore enemies near them, in 'Patrol' they will attack any enemy units in their range.
2. If there are no enemy units in their range they walk between their current location and the location you ordered them to patrol to.

The fact they go between the locations shouldn't be a problem since you'd probably expect the Terran to kill them anyway... and if the Terran die, well, I assume you'll lose than so what does it matter?

War 40k:sorry:... I had no idea about our map and it does not seem anything like the one i am making.. as i amking this around the principles of starcraft not Warhammer 40K. I cannot incorperate the 40K rules anyway as i only play Warhammer. I Thought that a Warhammer Map would Be nice but their were not enough meele units... Maybe for warcraft:lightbulb:....... Ahh well any way here is the trigger

CONDITIONS:
Player 1 accumulates at least 500 gas

ACTIONS:
issue all men owned by player 2 at Hormagaunt Brood 1: attack to attack H1
issue all men owned by player 2 at Hormagaunt Brood 2: attack to attack H2
issue all men owned by player 2 at Hormagaunt Brood 3: attack to attack H3

It doesn't matter, you should still use the patrol order.
You only use the 'attack' order in maps where you have a spacific singal building that should be attacked, if you want an example - check out this Blizzard map... it's in your SC directory (good map btw):
