Well, One day I was browsing the internet, And I came along a Halo 2 Video, Not a flash one...

But one with the actuall people in it...

I was woundering how I would make one too..

Do I have to buy something to do it? Or what...

Maybe a video camera?

You need a capture card for your computer. And most TV tuners let you record too.

I have a tv tuner that lets me hook up anything with those red/white/yellow audio and video cables to my computer. Then I can play and record whatever I want. Mine's kinda old so I wouldn't know what to suggest if you were to get one.

Would that be Red Vs Blue? On their site they have a place that tells you how they did it. Notice they cut off the top and bottom of the screen for the gun and stats at the top.

anyways, heres what youd need (proffesionally, with sound) to make a (good) real looking halo movie:

4 Xboxes, 4 copies of Halo, Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, and a Canopus video capture card all on a PC running Windows XP Professional. (Note: The capture card doesnt need to be of canopus brand)

Some of these are not NEEDED (4xboxes, you only need 1, prefferebly 2, but the more the better. Adobe audition, Windows XP and adobe after effects.) but using all of those will make the video much better.

This is what (most) of the Assets do:

4 Xboxes = Obviously, for running Halo and getting the Graphics.
4 Copies of Halo = to run on the xboxes, same effect.
Adobe After Effects = Lets you create very well done Graphics and things on videos. (this is how you you would probably insert different Sprites, ie; Notes on walls, Trees that wernt there before..)
Adobe Audition = A Great program that lets you insert audio into movie's
video capture card = For capturing all of the graphics that you do on the game.
or, simply, for "taping" the game onto your computer..
Windows XP = If you dont know what this is, you shouldnt be reading this.. anyways its the prefferable OS (Operating System) Because its the latest with the most Options..

BUT first, youll need the several Thousand dollars required to get The Adobe Programs.
